    hello sir there is something that ı dont understand.you said that at 2.problem v(0)=40 but 3. problem you used voltage divider but there is no different schematic for both circuits why did you use voltage divider on problem 3 for finding v(0)

      At t=0, the 2 k is not connceted to anything, it is open. Voltage 40 V is connected to capacitor through 5K and it gets charged to 40 V. Later on switch comes from A to B and capacitor charge is discharged through 2K.

      After a certain time the cap will get charged to 40V and there will be no curent and no ir drop. Please refer to lectures at sanjayvidhyadharan.in/courses/electrical-science/
