Considering the majority of native women are abused and killed by other native people its something that THEY need to do something about. Besides if others tried to do something about it they'd complain about it anyways like how the majority of violent crimes are committed by a couple of certain demographics of people and everyone refuses to do anything about it because that would be 'racist'.

I'm not saying racism doesn't exist in Canada because it exists everywhere on the planet, but if you think Canadians are hugely racist then you're wrong. Of course there's always going to be some people who are racist, but relatively speaking the vast majority of Canadians aren't very racist and probably FAR too tolerant of things they shouldn't be tolerant of.
However what NO ONE wants to acknowledge is that often native people and other minorities can be racist as well and yet we tolerate it because apparently 'minorities can't be racist' in some people's eyes. Its hilarious to see the media never mention who are the perpetrators of the recent rise in 'hate crimes' since the Oct 7 attacks.

Didn't the Canadian government release a study that said the majority of native women were abused and killed by native people? IE native on native crime. So maybe they should spend less time protesting and more time taking care of and fixing their own communities and raising their kids properly and getting them educated.
That would greatly decrease the problems that they face now especially in the long term, but unfortunately that would require them to put in actual work to turn things around and they'd rather just spend that time squeezing more money out of Canadians instead.

In some Saskatchewan cities, 99% of homeless people are Aboriginal. The rate ranges between 94% to 99% of homeless Saskatchewan people that are homeless are Aboriginal. Magnifying the homeless situation in Saskatchewan, is a provincial program that offers below poverty level income support to people in need of financial support. It's a program that housing advocates and even landlords raised serious concerns about before it was implemented by the Saskatchewan premier.
Another point: Pierre Poilievre has also denied the trauma that Aboriginal people face, the violence they've been subjected too, even going as far as promoting lies and conspiracies about residential schools, denying the effect residential schools had on generations of Aboriginal people.

Ask them what brought them to the streets, you get a million reasons. There is no clear-cut solution to homelessness and funding outreach programs can only help those that are looking to get out.
