I would like to point out the odd painting of the nefarious-like droids that Attack Ratchet and Clank at the start Same robots we can see at the end in the dimention where Clank ends up So that could be an alternate reality version of nefarious who's glass head Is Red and main body Paint isnt black or Blue but White A reality in which the main difference Is that the glitch that made Clank never happened meaning Ratchet (or in this reality "Rachelle" as i like to call her) never became a hero Meaning Nefarious won in R&C3 And After that he could have started to expand his Empire and could have found the dimentionator before Emperor Tachyon
I remember back in 2017 Brian Allgeier (the creative director of the Future saga) said they had a dilemma whether to continue from the reboot or the main storyline...It seems like they did both! And if they confirm space exploration, it will automatically become the best R&C game ever made!
I think the place we see at the end of the trailer is Solana in a universe where Nefarious won at the end of R&C3. I think the new character we see is this universes Ratchet who I think was partially roboticized by the biobliterator, hence the robotic arm. If Nefarious won then this version of Ratchet would probably be the last 'squishy' and why there appear to be wanted posters for some kind of lombax character. Just a theory.
i feel like they have been wanting to do this game since nexus, but neither the ps3 nor the ps4 were capable of it, so they just waited for the ps5. i now see the rac movie and ps4 game as a glorified advertisement for the series to get new people to play the older games, they KNEW the ps4 game wouldn't be well acclaimed by diehard fans of the series, which entices rac ps4 players to experience the better games, and eventually get hyped for this game, which has brought the series back on top of the world after the series had been slowly left dying for 7 years. that's how i see it at least

I have only two major concerns: 1. The visual style: I think the game should look more stylized and "cartoony" like A Crack in Time. I think Ratchet's model needs to be reworked a bit, and all those reflections on Clank could get pretty distracting. 2. I hope they don't rely too much on nostalgia and ticking boxes on a checklist. I've been clamoring for the return of beloved PS2-era characters, but I want brand new content for the levels and gameplay. I'm kinda burnt out on Dr. Nefarious as a villain. (I'd prefer that they brought back Tachyon.) (Bonus worry: I'm worried Angela still wont come back. 😥)

Just a thought I had; considering we saw a lot of enemies from past games, I wouldn't be surprised if we got some alternate dimension versions of past villains as well, Tachyon, Drek, Gleeman Vox, Vorselon, Captain Slag, Thugs-4-Less Leader etc. Hell maybe even good guys from past games could potentially be villains in these other dimensions. Wishful thinking I know, but given the plot is centered around alternate dimensions, it is a possibility, plus Dr Nefarious's plan in Crack in Time was as he explains "Wrong all the rights in the Universe. Every villain who has ever stumbled will get a do-over. Every protagonist triumph WILL BE REVERSED!".
This is litterally everything i wanted and more!!!! Im in the Middle of my final exams to get my master's diploma and i felt so down lately but after this i am so fucking happy!!

Do i need to play the previous chapters to understand the story or are they somehow "complete"? Are all the previous games ps esclusives? Since I don't have a console.. And from what I understood, eventually I can play them all with an emulator? Thnx in advance ✨

What I think is that dimension jumping is something that could happen because of post into the nexus, but couldn’t this still happen in the new timeline, dimensions doesn’t HAVE to be related to into the nexus, it can just be it’s own separate thing with the new timeline with nefarious coming up with some evil plan relating to dimensions and stuff and seeing how Nefarious is back I assume it’s the new timeline cause I highly doubt that nefarious would be back to his evils ways after the scene in all 4 one, plus this new game could have a time skip after the 2016 game. Also this new female lombax, I’m kinda thinking it’s going to be a possible love interest with ratchet if we’re going with the new timeline of course, but these are my thoughts
If you slow it down a lot you can accually see that he does the double jump before he's under the cart, the lights are connected to the cart i don't think it's got anything to do with it
Actually, that dark city with Megacorp logos reminds me of planet Notak a bit. Or it could be a new location as well, i dunno. But there were some Notak vibes. Also a bit it resembles Sylox (?), i dunno. Just some random thoughts
