- Melissa Gilbert got her big break at a young age as Laura Ingalls on "Little House on the Prairie." The hit show ran from 1974 to 1983, and now, over 37 years after the finale aired, it's seeing a resurgence. Access Hollywood's Kit Hoover talked to Melissa about the show's new popularity and her life in quarantine. Plus, she looked back on her young love with former boyfriend Rob Lowe and detailed the first time they met. All nine seasons of "Little House on the Prairie" are re-airing weekdays 4-7 p.m. on Cozi TV, and the series is also available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

"Little House on the Prairie" is my favourite TV show...To me, it surpasses most, if not all, of today's TV shows, in terms of its authenticity, its heartwarming and brilliant storylines, its excellent ensemble cast, its wonderful characters (except for Nellie & Mrs. Oleson :), and its strong entertainment value.
No matter how good, or how bad, my day goes/is going, I know it will be that much better, once I watch that day's episode of "Little House on the Prairie", on the Calawest cable TV channel.
R.I.P., Michael "Charles Ingalls" Landon, Victor "Isaiah Edwards" French, Richard "Nels Oleson" Bull, and Katherine "Harriet Oleson" MacGregor.
All the Olesons are my fav characters besides Charles Ingalls of course🤠

Omg,i just figured out why I’ve been binging on Little House for the last month now .
Sux years ago i had to give my home up and move into an assisted living facility due to multiple health issues .
The pandemic hit us hard we were on complete lock down for an entire year ,i couldn’t see my son or my grandchildren in that year ,and we have some really caustic ,horrible insulting residents here ,one of them cut me to the quick with her awful comments,I began to loose my faith in humanity,everything Melissa said in this interview made so much sense now ,Little House made me remember when I was younger and still looked at the world differently.
