Instead of adding coconut raw u can always add fresh coconut to rice whenever u make pudina rice. Especially people who do not want to add garlic and onion can mix fresh grated coconut to the rice.

Hello chef. I have liked this video and saved it on TH-cam in order to try it out on a later date. I made it today. It came out so well. Just the flavour of garlic and mint is the highlight of this recipe. I used Basmati rice. I managed with whatever pudina I had in the fridge. When I was not able to follow the names of some ingredients which obviously were in Tamil, I consulted my help whose mother tongue is Tamil. My small advice. Could you have subtitles of your Tamil talk in English as and when the audio is in operation.? I am proud that I am your follower. You are from my native place for sure. Keep up the good work Mr.Bhat.
