Pat from Philly here...I was introduced to this great sitcom in the 1980's on PBS. I recorded every episode on VHS. I love the inclusion here of the episode of the woman who refused to turn up her hearing aid. She asked where the ocean view was. Basil responds, "it's right there between the land an the sky." I think that's correct...anyway, well done again!!!
this channel is the best thing i have found for years for just making me laugh out loud!! every one of the facial expressions in all the videos is just spot on incredble to thnk that two unknown guys on here are capable of making me laugh which im afraid all todays so calledc comedians on British TV are not!!

The costuming of the guests from the first season of Fawlty Towers is especially fun; the absolute mid point of 70s styles, completely specific for 1975-6, and they always remind me for some reason of the stage outfits of The Manhattan Transfer at that time. Nice to see Terry who is "Dorchester Trained" (not trained at "The Dorchester" just "in Dorchester").
