Credit to Ken Kendrick and the ownership group to adding to the baseball team after losing Christian Walker and Joc Pederson but can’t stop here they still need another power bat and closer.
@@huskynation2318 appreciate you responding. That breaks my heart. He was player I was hoping we would retain. Two big bats gone like that. 🙃 Still excited for next years squad.

@@Beetlejuice67668he isn’t going anywhere, that isn’t the d backs MO to trade away guys like him. Pitching is everything and you can’t have enough of it.
Burnes made a smart decision. He’s in his hometown where his family is with his newborn kids. Why wouldn’t you want to play for contenders like the Diamondbacks, who’s been killing at the last couple seasons. Yeah, we are underdogs, but I’m glad we finally got somebody with this type of pitching caliber that decided to sign with the underdogs and not the overrated Yankees and Dodgers
That's wild they do not have the best rotation in baseball. The Dodgers the Yankees both have better staffs. Diamondbacks got away with deferred money with no interest let you know how bad he wanted to be here!!
@@danielestrada8560 I like the diamondbacks but the angels are my team always have been since we didn’t get one till 98 I’m just happy to see them spending money I think that’s why the angels don’t spend money they’re probably still paying for all those contracts they gave out when Artie bought the team in the early 2000s
I understand that Burnes turned down an offer to return to Baltimore. I believe that it was for more than the Diamondbacks offered. Did he say why he turned it down?
2 aces at the top with Gallen and Burns, a solid number 2 with Kelly, and finish it off with Pfaadt and E-Rod. How can you not say they have one of best if not the best rotations in baseball.
Ken Kendrick and Mike Hazen deserve the praise they are due. The last two years have renewed my trust in the front office.

Where did Walker go? I missed that one. I was sad to see Joc go to the Rangers.

I lowkey had forgot about Brandon Phaadt idk how to spell it but he’s nice too we jst need one more solid bullpen arm or arms
Replace the h with an f and you spelt his name right
Hopefully they don’t trade Brandon his name was getting tossed around last season that kid is going to be the true ace of the staff

deferred payments need to go
For real teams need to feel the consequences and immediate impact of big contracts going bad

The d-backs never really offered, Burnes is a diamondback because he wanted to be. He's getting deferred money with no interest.
Yankees have the best starting 5 and bullpen
Id say Nelson deserves a spot on the rotation. Burned Gallen Kelly Erod Pfaddt then Nelson.
Realistically, one of them will be injured on opening day. That’s how spring training works, hopefully 5 of those 6 will be solid.
They paid him a shitload of money that's how they got him
