Winchester movie is the best movie that I watch over and over. I visited the house countless times and watching the movie is great! Gives , me chills while watching it knowing I walked through the same rooms as in the movie. The reporter In this video was pretty bad and asked unimportant questions that she should get the facts and history before interviewing the Great Actress!
I really admire Helen. I love how she gave this story so much of her artistry and heart. The comments on Americans and guns perked up my ears. All I can say is that there's a lot of us over here who feel exactly the same way. Some conflicted, only due to scary crime.
Can't wait for this movie.

its total fiction, makes Sarah Winchester out to be crazy, she was anything but crazy
she came west to California because much of her Pardee Family had moved here years before. They were sprinkled between Sacramento to San Francisco area. One of her Pardee cousins was Governor between 1903 -1907.Building this house/ labyrinth , was what got her mind off her grief of her dead child and husband. She was educated, very intelligent and in the day the richest woman in the world and could do what ever she wanted
Helen is a fantastic actress and a very interesting lady.

your so right, the way she kept trying to interrupt Helen was awful! you're interviewing a Dame and it's a Dame who is willing to give you a proper answer to your questions, so sit your ass still and listening for god sake!

Crazy just how different British culture is from us. She talked about this only happening in a "new country" where there aren't any deep set traditions (0:35) and I'm thinking to myself da*n how entrenched in tradition is Britian that they can't build their own houses however they please?!!
Sarah Winchester was then the richest woman in the world with a interest in Architecture and could afford to indulge her interest. She moved to California to be close to her Pardee family that had moved here years before, not because some fortune teller told her to, and there is no proof that that ever happened

Bringing up American gun laws was inappropriate for this interview.
¿300,000 gun deaths a year? C'mon, Helen. In 2021 it was under 48,000.... about 1 1/100th of 1%. I SO hate how the media jacks information out of anything resembling accuracy, no questioning Ms Mirren's horribly distorted ignorance on this point. But then, that's the state of media activism these days... what I wouldn't give for Walter Cronkite, or Huntley & Brinkley.
