I'm a guy that randomly got into fragrances. It's a much healthier habit than some of my other ones in the past. There really is something special about all fragrances. Whether it's a few $100 or $20.

I love Dama Bianca. I was considering repurchasing a bottle but honestly I don’t want to pay that high price tag. I bought a decanter of Junoon Noir and I was amazed! Identical if not better!!! It lasts way longer than Dama Bianca. I will be buying a full bottle of Junoon Noir instead.

Just love your honesty and realized that if you could afford any fragrance in the world, you wouldn't be who you are, and would not have attracted me as a viewer. Sometimes I think people can be likened to a frag that needs to sit and wait so it can develop into something even more beautiful. ❤

That jacket is screaming "Monied"😻😻😻. Metalico, I had interest but the lasting power threw me off. So currently with 18 bottles in my collection (ME and designer) I only want 2 more and I won't be buying again until at least 1 bottle is empty. And so far I'm interested in Ajayab Dubai portrait (that mango 1) and 1 of these 3 (Eclaire, Qissa delicious or caramel cascade), I'm struggling to decide which, but will take just 1 of these 3.
I like my dupes more than my designers🙈, especially because they bring a different interpretation than an exact copy of niche or designer in question. Thank you Adwoa ❤️

No need for more or constant additions trust me. It can overwhelm you.
Remember I didn’t want to be specific the other time you asked about these 3 fragrances. I still will say all three are good but go with the notes and watch lots more reviews of people you trust. It might skew you towards the ONE. If budget wasn’t an issue, I would have said all because they will all give slightly different vibes but still similar that if you have one, you will not be missing much from the others

I was so disappointed when I got Afkaar and Sapphire Red from Lattafa and realised how very similar they were to my Instant Crush. I nearly cried😂. Really wept when i got Roses Vanille and realised i actually preferred Ajwad lol. So i have decided to judge fragrances individually instead of comparing them to the originals.
Yes, that is what I do now. I get the ones I want based on how I feel not necessarily dupe or niche
I realize that dupes truly depend on how much you want to spend, I don't see anything wrong with buying them at all. Yes the original perfumes are niche with rich blends, and it really up to the individual.

Fragrance is beautiful. It's a special treat we give ourselves, right? It should never become a game of going broke or keeping up with the crowd. It's not a competition, it's a feel-good and should bring us joy. The joy ends when the pockets empty and the struggle is too great. My thoughts are if it smells good, brings you joy, affordable for the pocket then nothing else matters. ❤ I'm 60 yrs old, have spent too much $$ in the past on expensive frags. Not all Arabian houses only do dupes guys. Many of the fragrances today are borrowed from ancient DNA's that have been around for centuries. A slight twist, a turn, an added accord and it's marketed. Unless you are getting into natural ingredients, the highest quality ingredients, original artists, art bottles, and designs, something that YOU truly find precious and gratifying then why not save. I find Arabian perfume simply beautiful and often better than it's western counterparts. 😮😊

Thank you gorgeous. I have learnt to accept my strengths and know the limits so as to not cause unnecessary stress to myself so dupes it is. When I get it like that , I go for the niche and designers occasionally 😀

Maybe you can get a decant of the original fragrance like Guidance by Amaouage or Bianco Latte to compare to the dupe. This way you can either be satisfied with the dupe or put the original fragrance on your gift list.

I feel you on the og. As someone who has plenty dupes I do walk a little taller when I got on the real deal I ain’t gone lie. However the way the economy is set up lol I can’t justify the price in some cases. Great video!

I have a very good dupes of blanche bete done by generic perfumes and by Dapper fragrances , 30ml for $33.00 and they are both 95% to the original which I got a sample of.

Usually I talk about Arabian dupes since that’s what I largely have access to and so do a lot of my audience based in Africa. It is easier getting Arabian perfumes than Dapper and other Western based dupes over here.

I too have a price point that I refuse to go over for original fragrances...which is why I don't own Guidance. 😊 Unfortunately, Bayn Al Asrar is not yet in Europe so I'll wait a bit longer. I do own Blanche Bete though, but I waited until it was on sale. And I'm not sorry about it. I also own a bottle of Bianco Latte. You are correct, this is not a unique scent profile, but it is done beautifully. And it lasts the entire day. I don't mind paying 125€ to Giardini de Tuscana for a 100 ml bottle. I think that is reasonable. I mean, at the end of the day, we are paying for smelly water. 😉

I got A decant of Bianca Late and Lira because I love gourmand perfumes then I almost buy 30ml Delina for $189 dollars then remember I have decant and four dupes of it that are identical🙈 so dupes or decants are good for now.😅

I feel the same way. I’ll buy the doop and if I love it I buy the og. I purchased Guidance, Blanche Bete and Bianco Latte because the doops were not dooping and I don’t have any regrets. I will continue to buy both doops and og because that just makes sense. I’m looking for EG doop however some ppl have stated it smells like vanilla bean Noel.😮

Great video Adwoa. For myself, ever since I started dabbling in Arabian fragrances, I find myself not wanting to get the designer (even niche) versions of the ones I have in Arabian versions. I still buy niche and designer of fragrances I really love and just want. I like my collection now with all the niche and designer I had from before my Arabian craze😂, my Arabian ones and the new designer and niche I am currently adding. I wanted Guidance but it was always sold out everywhere I went to. I finally picked it up yesterday so I am happy. I also picked up Hibiscus Mahajad (these two were to add to my Quentin Bisch collection since he's one of the noses I'm currently collecting). Picked up Burberry goddess a few weeks ago because I just loved it when I tried it. I have a few on my niche wishlist that I will be picking up at the duty free in a couple of weeks. At this point in my life, I allow myself to enjoy what I enjoy irrespective of dupe or not.

I really like sparkling lychee from kayali. It's not expensive it just doesn't last on me so I've been trying to get khair fusion but it stays sold out.

I’ve done the opposite, started with ME fragrances and moved on to higher end designer fragrances. There are times when it’s really worth saving up for because buying a lot of dupes still adds up in cost. But those times have memories attached to them, a celebration, during travel, a gift.
I agree. If you are not necessarily doing reviews on TH-cam or other platforms, I think it is safe to say you are better with the designers once and for all because buying 3 dupes of the same fragrance will add to getting one of the real one 😅 but if price is a consideration, do dupes I recommend 👍❤️
