I’d have to argue that Stamper actually is actually pretty good in this mode. The DPS is definitely mediocre at best, but the big advantage I found with it is the that the melee hits stagger enemies. If you can get a half-decent build going for close range, you can abuse the swings to stunlock enemies and wade through entire hordes relatively easily. Though if you don’t get a decent build going, even the mid-game turns into a struggle pretty quickly.
Yh, my B. Felt like 4 days were long enough of a wait bc I thought people that cared would have already beaten it a dozen times anyway. I know that wasn't considerate of me so sorry if you got spoildered bc of the thumbnail.
In the case of the "final palette", if you want the final sticker, its requirements is to exactly use zero hacks while using that palette, so yes you're expected to grow in player skill to get to the summit and win (in other words, you'll have to do it again my dude😈😹)
After reconfiguring all the Palettes in Side Order with the exception of Eight’s Palette, I’m going for a different challenge. Beating the Side Order DLC with Eight’s Palette with NO Hacks. It will be tough, it will take me multiple tries, but I WILL do it!
Ironically this challenge is kind of how you get the octo shot cause it removed your ability to get more than 6 if you have a like more than 4 active hacks. It's hard and it took me atleats 3 trys to beat it cause I'd only went in with the one hack of a singular extra life Though doing this kind of challenging with say a charger or the splatana stamper is a fun twist
Stamper is easy. You can essentially become Ichigo and spam massive getsugatensho's (or piercing heaven. Whichever name you prefer). Pierce, power, attack width, ink efficiency, swing speed, etc
Base Stamper isn't too bad in this game as other weapons (*cough cough* dualies) and especially if you can get a good build going. I'm thinking about doing a hackless with stamper where I use as much lucky chips as possible. That sounds possible...
I don't think he used it, but there's nothing saying you couldn't. He definitely picked vending machines, but I know I've seen Dude doing it without them. Specific difficulty floors starts making it *way* harder though because it limits how much control you have over your build.
I had it turned off but I wouldn't count it so turn it on if you want! I didn't go for specific floors in this run so that wasn't part of this challenge. I did a run yesterday where I had to get as many rigorous floors as possible (No vending machine floors allowed) tho that requires the floor reset and membux multiplier so it wasn't hackless.
"It isn't meant to be beaten in 1 attempt." Then why tf is it so easy to beat it in 1 attempt. Literally finished the tutorial, and beat the dlc right afterwards.
Keep in mind that the majority of players has less than 200 hours in this game. Only very few people get it on their very first attempt and without a single hack so congrats if you did
ProChara ahhh type thumbnail
True
Most thumbnails on my channel have that style lol. Nothin special
I actually thought it was a Chara video when I got the notification. Though it did work to be fair
does he know?
Man you beat me to it
FUN FACT: did you know during the tower boss you can go under it to avoid the wail and the splat bonbs?

typically I like to try for triple splashdown since it does pretty explosive damage and gets my lucky chain going
@@Loganberry_013 When people use “Stamper” as an abbreviation, they’re usually talking about Splatana _Stamper_ not Ultra Stamp
like in every single roguelikes
Love the spoiler in the thumbnail 😋🩷

not a good idea to put the final boss in thumbnail a few days after release

You can use up to four hacks or you won't get the badge. You don't have to use any hacks sure but having one wouldn't mean you don't get the badge
Me who hasn’t used the hacks yet at all
i got that badge with one hack activated (just an extra life)
The Ultra Stamp is really effective against the overlorder, it can defeat phase 3 in one go even
The same can be said about the Crab tank, and I did find it in my no hack final palette run

Thats the whole point of octoshot...
It isn't even that hard of a challenge once you get the hang of it
though 1 slip up is enough to make someone swear in multiple languages at the same time
Tbf the octoshot is a pretty easy weapon, and even though i think stamper is very good in this mode, he said he tried choosing a bad weapon
@@Starbonsai fine I'll do the stamper with no hacks in under 5 attempts
@@karenanthony6140 sounds good, it was the weapon i used to beat side order on my first attempt 👍
Me as a splatana main: wait, stamper was hard for people?
same

as a pokemon and splatoon fan i appreciated the gen 5 music also love your videos btw
Thx a lot! ❤️
Why did you put spoilers in the thumbnail 😢
man no hacks with 8s pallet is SO HARD
WHAT was bro DOING at 13:50 💀

Is risky rewards allowed for this challenge
also is there any limitations on what difficulty floors you must pick?
Good question lmao
