A weird spring indeed! We had a nice week of spring weather. Now we're in midsummer form. Hopefully it settles back out this weekend. Pretty sure the heat wave is gonna kick start the spawn.
Insane that you posted this video, yesterday I caught a 6.5lber and a 5lb bass on this jerk bait. I think it’s incredible and the hooks are razor sharp.

Jerk bait i painted has been my work horse this spring i've caught perch, blue gill, pike and my biggest bass so far 5.4 lbs totally agree weather has been terrible cold windy and rain. Finally hit 70s and into the 80s later this wk.
What I would like to see? Well, as a "power" bass angler that is FINALLY dipping his toes into Drop Shot and Ned rigs, seeing you fish it and explaining how you work it, etc. I can rig it fine, but as you described with the your excellent drawings, seeing someone fish it WHERE they fish it is helpful. Thanks for the great videos.

It is specifically for when you put a product in front of your face…it will pull focus into the product with out having to put your hand behind it. It also has a cold shoe and audio in for your mic. Keep up the GREAT work. Love the show!

I’ve personally Been micro fishing it’s still crazy weather here in ny but the pan fish and bass have been whacking the tried and true mepps and mini jerk baits and cranks and I find myself enjoying it more at least for now
Another thing I do if I'm fishing shallow with a jerlbait instead of twitching the rod towards the water I twitch it upwards. People think you always need to keep your rod downwards but that's not the case if you wanna get it deeper keep the rod tip down if u want shallow keep the rod tip up.

Just got ok to bank fish in a chair from doctors after surgery, as long as friends take me. Better than nothing lol. Mostly bank fish anyway.. What's that day 5? Just tried the stunna for my first time a month ago in northern lights color. Destroyed it!! I use the megabass 110 but this bait comes with stronger hooks, great action and is just amazing. Quickly became one of my favorite jerk baits. Top 3 megabass, Berkeley stunna and jackal rerange. Berkeley is by far the best for bang for buck and coming with good terminal tackle straight out to fish.
I would like to see you go out and throw a big soft plastic swimbait(6"+) and see what happens. I'll even sweeten the challenge and allow you take one follow up lure.
Kudos to Randizzle on the white board! You could also throw the jerkbait on braid. I do that with deeper diving crankbaits so they don't go as deep either.
I really liked the way the stunna worked through the water. But the entire left half of the bill broke off on the first day with it. Wasn't fishing it that much that day. I just haven't replaced it yet. They are kinda spendy. Just wish i could've had a little more time with it to see if i wanted more
I have a question for you, on reels with 2 breaking systems do you use both or do you turn off one or the other? Starting to use baitcasters and they have 2 breaks so what do you suggest.

My two top hobbies are fishing and upland bird hunting and was just curious if you've ever been into any pheasant hunting or anything being in Iowa
