I'm emulating this game via PPSSPP in 1440p, and holy crap. While some of the models look rough (mostly textures like rocks and whatnot) from upscaling, the game as a whole looks fantastic. The level of detail and scale is absolutely ridiculous. How Ready at Dawn managed to put this on the PSP is beyond me.

Because he edited the video the first cutscene you saw was well the first one then they battle but kratos loses another cutscene appears showing charont trowing kratos to tartarus then he escapes and another cutscene which is not shown in this video appears and they figth the battle you see here
Matei Bobes I gotta say chains of Olympus. I had more fun with the weapons available and I found the boss fights a little more enjoyable. But ghost of sparta was still fucking awesome.
luqman hakim No dude Kratos starts being a god when he kills ares this is before he kills ares besides you are asking why Atreus can be a god and caliope can’t, so that’s the reason when caliope was born ares was still alive and he was the one who made kratos kill his family
I would have only beated him down until he would do my biding. I mean, his work of separating the souls was kinda important. It worked with Hercules in the mythology.
I tried a cheat so that health bar never goes to zero..and it seems that I need to die once to proceed , and after disabling the cheat , my health bar is not moving a centimeter... What should I do ?
After watching this video i say this is the most pointless boss fight in the game, since Charon just say to Kratos leave and nothing happens to actually begin a fight......
Very cool boss, but I have a gripe with both him and Persephone. Ares is canonically the first god Kratos ever met and it was supposed to be near impossible task, that no one did before. And CoO makes him KILL 2 GODS!
I haven't played this game in a while im curious, first time you fight Charon if you just let him kill you does the game just continue on? Or does he need to specifically kill you the scripted way? 🤔
You are meant to lose in your first fight with Charon. That's how it's scripted. In the second fight, you are able to beat him now - thanks to the Gauntlet of Zeus being the only thing that can knock the pillars down.

@@evanmoore1362 the first round is basically rigged to be lost from the start. The second fight was a challenge but nothing that the Gauntlet couldn't handle. With that said, the QTE with Charon was satisfying af as you pummel his clownass with that Gauntlet of Zeus.

He's easy, even on god mode, he killed me between 2-4 times and then beated the crap outta him, pretty easy
So who guides the souls to the deepest pits without Charon?
No one. In "GoW 1" you can see the souls now fall without order since Charon is not there to separate them.

In the first fight ,you're guaranteed to lose. However in the second fight you'll have the gauntlet and can be able to win
