@tsion3267 you can but it's not my type of movie. This is a spoiler.... There was a guy who helped her when her parents died and he had continued to help her throughout her life. He never did her wrong and I'm not sure when he had met her and he wasn't really in her life to the point it's called grooming (I don't think). But she still fell in love with a married father. Which is weird af to me. These movies where they focus more on the romantic partners than the love of their own child is weird to me. Because the married guy died for her knowing that he was going to leave his child with his crazy wife.
The show was amazing and her falling in love with the husband made total sense bcs first she slept with him and she was pretending to be in love but at last she actually fell in love
and guess what the guy didnt even cared about his daughter tho but no ones pointing this out , i bet if it was a woman then ppl wouldve talked trash about her
@Parakeet-e8v double standard shit in Asia. One of the down faults for being born a female. Male can be selfish and commit evil things but when a female wears a crop top, she's a whore.
I'm happy they didnt end up together. There's nothing romantic about cheating and also the fact that the ML never really cared about his daughter. The FL should've ended up with the guy who never left her side. He knew her better and was capable of making her more human
It's funny with these revenge type Korean drama. It always just so happens that the girl who wanted to take revenge on this mega rich family grew up looking incredibly gorgeous. I guess looks are so important in the Korean culture that for those who grew up ugly, they are not even worthy of revenge.. lol...
So glad I watched this recap. I wanted to watch this show for years, but sudden reviews made me scared the script would be horrible. After seeing this, I don't really understand the criticism of the revenge plot. Justice was served regardless of her developing complicated feelings for the ML, not everything needs to be black and white to be good.
Everyone discussing who she should have loved but I don’t think she loved the second guy, she just trauma bonded with him. They both lost a parent, they both are in unhappy situations (her life and marriage for revenge, him having no life because of his family), and the share a common enemy. In a way she sees herself in him that’s what she empathize with, no love imo.
The US is no better! Look at our current political system. The worst gov money can buy. And people are stupid enough to believe these silver spoon 2nd and 3rd gen Billionaires givr a f about normal people. It'd crazy
Okay everybody in the comment is like “she should’ve ended up with the dude who has been with her from the beginning”. But I’m over here like, didn’t she meet him when she was 15? And he was like a full fledged adult who graduated from college and had a full time job? Am I the only one who finds that just a wee bit strange?
@@karonebuguss2616 the point is, they were never close, they met during the time when her father was killed so why are you expecting a love connection already? Its a one sided love.
@@record.retake.repeat7922the question is, if they met when she was 15, would she later when she becomes an adult fall in love with him? 1. He was a lawyer and I don't think he was close enough to groom her 2. There was no intent on both sides to fall in love or be intimately interested in each other. She was a child to him and he was an adult to her. They spend years apart and she returns as an adult. Is she allowed to fall in love with someone who was sympathetic with her in her childhood? 3. If they are both adults, are they allowed to choose to love each other? 4. Who are we to them and their journey?
Is now one talking about how rails revenge is the cuz that she ruined the life of a little girl and she might be the next to seek revenge for her father and mother believing that rail is the reason her childhood was destroyed
Oh.. I've watched this in our local channel around 3-4 months ago though erratically so thank you for covering this in Recaps since I've only watched around 3 episodes.
I don’t usually comment on these. This drama evokes intense feelings of illicit desire that every human has had at least once (even intrusively). I don’t condone cheating or revenge on any level but watch the actual show and you’ll appreciate the director’s work. The show fulfills its full purpose and potential. After watching Hollywood until the plots became cliches, Eve was refreshing. I can’t remember the last time I watched a show and remembered it years after with emotions still fresh like I finished the last episode yesterday.
A mixture of intense emotions. Thank you for the recap because I really could not go through the whole series. You feel the anger and pain of the injustice. You also feel the conflict of falling in love with your enemy. Which as it happened, he was not her enemy and he knew nothing of what happened to her family, it was his father and father-in-law. When he did find out what happened to the female leads family, the only thing he could do was end his life.
This should be a cautionary tale for women with rich or a good man.... when you get older, you better get nicer and more agreeable towards your man. There is ALWAYS a younger woman waiting for an opportunity.
are there any kdramas with similar stories except that the main female lead falls in love with the guy who helped her from the start. for example, a kdrama where the female lead is similar to ra el falling in love with a character like eun pyung. are there any kdramas with similar plot lines and characters like that??
Almost 30mins of the recap when I remember who is the man helping the lead actress.. OMG! it's Lee Sang Yeob! 😍 Hahahaha! I thought he was from another drama series that I've already watched.😂 It's the sixth sense! My old brain! 😅
True, you must earn wealth and power in order to succeed. But the law of God is far most powerful, you can lean on Him, whenever, whatever your situation is as long as you have fate and a righteous person; He will execute the revenge for your sake, because He loves you and doesn’t want to pollute your hands and soul.
@@tyrion2901 yea but if takes time too and sometimes the victim even dies and then after a decade bad people recieve punishment or sometimes they dont even get punished even if they die and sometimes bad ppl dont even realize that they are getting punished from God they dont change , i would also choose to take revenge myself if i got the chance
I feel bad, for the child and sora, especially the child, her life is gonna be full of sadness poor, child her father is inlove with another woman, and her mother is full of hatred, her mother wanted a affection, from her own husband and rael's husband too he was decieved by her by an affair
50:20. ONLY 5yrs of marriage! WTF! I thought they’d been married AT LEAST 15yrs but more like 20-25 especially knowing she’s 50. There couldn’t have been much to begin with if someone done in such a short time
This is the kind of series that makes me wonder how anyone would think even an imaginary world of rich people could be this weird. Garbage writing, cookie-cutter directing, and some of the worst acting I've ever seen LOL
I feel so bad for Sora, she is just a woman hoping for loving friends and at least, a loving husband, so because she had no real friends, or love she ended up being blinded by hope and delusion 😟
32:38 “Sora is almost 50 years old.. and is really stupid” had me bursting out laughing 😂
I hated this show. It went from a revenge series to a love story and she didn't even fall in love with the guy who was there for her from the start.
Should i not watch it?🤔

Her husband was there when her father was killed
Her husband was one of the killers of her dad.
I guess cheating on him, isn't the biggest problem😬
@@sasla3259 She's not talking about the husband. She's talking about the man who confessed to her that he loved her.
❤
ML?
FL?
32:24 this part makes me pissed like what do u mean ur first instinct is to protect your mistress and not your child
exactlyyyyyyyyy but no ones really talking about this and i bet if it was a woman instead of man then ppl wouldve attacked the woman in comments
Got that awkward and cringy feeling too
And that’s how it is in real life also. Some people care more about their mistress than their own children.

Korea is famous for their toxic beauty standards no wonder why teenagers do many surgeries after completing high school
