- After many hours in Liftoff and getting into TRYP FPV, I've decided to go a bit serious about practicing a bit more freestyle on simulators.
This is my current skill level, which involves a lot of crashes.
But I simply love it, and I'm looking forward to at least another hundred hours in TRYP FPV as well.
If anyone would like these types of videos I create, wherever is TRYP FPV, Uncrashed, Liftoff, or other simulators, I can do a series of training and practice in FPV Simulators and maybe even some tutorials.
I found making these videos and sharing them with you inspiring.
I am using as an RC the FrSky Horus X10S Express.

hiya fpv friend. i just noticed your hands in the corner. id suggest for u to try getting your thumbs on top of each stick and moving your forefingers up a little higher near top end of the front of each stick.. its called the hybrid pinch.. id go out on a limb and say once u master that u will have at least 3 times the control ,

I got used from the very beginning to flying “pinch”; I’ve tried the hybrid method with the thumb on top and index on the side, but I fail so hard. I am also aware that I have to give it more time to learn, and perhaps I have to do it as the pinch method does not work well with small controllers (gamepad-style).
Thank you for the reminder; I have to practice and I’ll be a hideous slow progressing for me, but I have also seen FPV pilots mastering freestyle with the “hybrid” method.
@@fpvon only a few hours of hard practice. u already know all the movements
I have modified my sticks to accept controller grips and changed my rates to match them. Feels so much more natural to me coming from playing controller in games. There's no right or wrong way,it's about how it feels to everyone,once you master your favourite position it gets easier faster.

Can you use the DJI Maverick 2 controller?
I use the dji fpv controller so I can't see why not.
On the first clip I genuinely thought you were flying irl, in Bavaria or something. Only after I realised this was a vg lol

@@fpvon I'm a newcomer to fpv, which radio are you using?
This radio is the FrSky X10S Express.
But I strongly recommend the Radiomaster TX16S if you want to get into FPV and works very good with the simulator.
Also, the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 is working with the simulator if you want to get the Avata or DJI FPV.
@@fpvon My mind atm is in the Boxer. It's still a lot of money, don't know if it's worth the investment, and coming from the drone world, fpv is still kinda scary to me 😄
It is scary but the adrenaline rush is absolutely fantastic 🥰 Once FPV, you’ll forget about any Standard GPS drone, believe me!

how do you get cross hair mark on your OSD?
It was somewhere from the settings. I will tell you exactly how when I get back home if you haven’t found it yet.
@@fpvon Thanks, yup it was hiding in the settings, but my cross looks like a faint line, so I've also selected the box around it, this really helps in going through narrow openings and keeping the quad level altitude.
I agree with you. I always try to have the cross enabled, it helps a lot with orientation when flying.
how's the physics on that?
Average. Liftoff, Uncrashed and VelociDrone has better physics, drone mechanics and throttle management than TRYP.
On the other side, TRYP’s win is the actual amount of content.
once they get up and going and out of beta if they fix the physics and how the drone flys its the best hands down .. dont need graphics from 2010 like the others

That’s only logical and yes, if we consider graphics a factor, the TRYP is simply hands-down.
I’m also looking forward to many improvements ahead; but I do like (personally) to diversify my practices and to create content around all FPV simulators.
has tryfpv got a dji avata preset or I have to configure it manually?
No; you'll have to manually adjust a drone and create a preset to fly as Avata.

@@Matt_warren_photography I'm very sorry, I never though about seeking some rates for Avata. It's quite difficult to create by yourself though. Maybe once I will have more time, I can look into it, but no promise I'll succeed.

what is your rate settings ?
Hi. I have changed it several times since then but I think i used ACTUAL rates with 140 center, 800 max rate and 0.85 expo if I’m not wrong for yaw, roll and pitch.
I also wrote an article you can find my rates and what I recommend for VelociDrone but works well with TRYP, Liftoff and Uncrashed

Hi.
It’s an i7 9th gen laptop cu 32gb RAM and 6GB video Nvidia GTX 1660 TI (if I’m not wrong, from the top of my head)
The laptop is near its end life because I kept it nearly an year on for crypto farming.
So you should get better performance even with lower specs.
TRY FPV Works well even with my MacBook Air M2
