The most annoying thing of this bike is the weight, I just don't get idea how they managed to build it that heavy, I mean in terms of weight it competes with GS 1200 and the rest of the big adventure bikes in the segment, but at least in bigger bikes the wight comes partly of big and heavy engine, but here, I don't get the idea. Still a mystery for me how 500cc bike weights nearly as much as 1200cc bike. Must be very heavy frame I guess.
with music and you talking but no engine sound or revs i'm getting no feel for this bike at all , 47bhp is not enough for a heavy motorcycle , i know i will be dissapointed if i ride this
Unfortunately if I play the outside noise fully, there will be so much wind noise that you won't hear much of the engine anyway. Go yesterday ride one when you get a chance
@@FrankTripleMoto i have an old trek1130 which is probably too fast for me , i put a lead on my microphone so i can place it anywhere. So for touring you need to do some highway sometimes, what speed can the 502 sit on the highway comfortably in your opinion
The 502X looks like it would be a good tourermthat would handle the dirt roads. It would make an excellent addition to anyone's garage.
Yeah totally agree Matt, it was very impressive 👌
Apparently the 2024 models come with a aluminum swing arm, reducing weight
Cool, that's a great idea to shave some weight off

Yeah a solid steel frame keeps the weight high, your right it shouldn't weigh as much as a 1200
