The flaps that you never like in the pant and pink jacket you showed are facings, they are supposed to finish the edge of the garment and make it look seamless :) that's why they don't usually sew it down. Just some info...But do what u want girl!!!! Love ur vids
Ahh ok I knew there had to be a point hahah but they always flap up with me so I just get rid of them especially in pants it messes with my belly ring lol thank you for the information though I feel dumb now hahaha thank you for watching! Why is thrift shopping a trend now!!! When I was younger I used to get made fun of for wearing hand me downs cause my parents couldn't afford to by multiply kids seasonal clothes. >.
I've been thrift shopping for years, my sister has as well she would take me and my brother and sister thrift shopping because yeah my parents couldn't really afford taking us shopping. I think because people put it on the internet other people get intrigued. I wouldn't say it's a trend personally it's just a lifestyle choice.. It's just like makeup..being a makeup artist wasn't a trend 5 years ago and now everyone is a "makeup artist" it's just the way society is, can't do anything about it. Once the "trends" fall I'm still going to be thrifting and doing makeup.
+TheFashionMess Hey at least you've done it before it appeared online and plan on doing after too. I do respect those who give tips and tricks for thrifting though and those who repurpose/recreate new whole outfits
