Those are adorable I absolutely love pottery, but there's no way that I could make it even though you make it look easy. I really enjoyed watching you make it. Thanks and God bless 🙏
If you practiced enough, I promise you could. How do you think I learned? I’ve been throwing pottery for about 4 years now and still consider myself a novice, but for some reason I make tiny pots better than large pots! Thanks for watching and leaving such a kind comment. Be well & blessed.
I loved that demonstration. It was so helpful, and I'm going to use some of your techniques when I throw on my mini wheel. I struggle the most with getting the rim and edges smooth. It looks great when it's spinning, and then I turn it off and the edges look awful 😂
I've been there Amy. I have the same problem sometimes. Making mini pots isn't easy, but I love making them and give them away as a bonus when someone orders something from me.
Thank you. Yes the catch basin was made by me. You can also use a plastic container. I’ve replaced with something bigger since this video. It just helps contain the splash mess. Thank you for watching and commenting.
10 cm/ 3.9 inches. It can handle tiny but the more clay you use the less torque you get. I have another small pottery wheel for making things like small snack bowls shot glasses and sake sets. The torque is amazing. It’s call The Small Ceramics Wheel.

I just bought a very similar one off Amazon but mine keeps moving around when I put the speed to maximum. How do you stabilize it ?
Yoh have to center the clay
mine is on the way I am so excited :D
Enjoy. I really love mine.
Great video thanks :) I noticed it did not seem to come with a splashpan did you make yours to fit?

@@vanillavinepottery oh ok thank you :)
Da para fazer um copo nessa máquina?
Puedes hacer cualquier forma que quieras, siempre que sea pequeña.
I really enjoy your videos, you have a new subscriber!!
I just purchased this wheel! What clay do you use??
I throw with earthenware or stoneware clay. But you can use an air dry clay as well but I personally don’t work with air dry clay.
How big is the largest plate for this wheel? Is it actually 10cm? I want to make small pots and cups
