Next to impossible to find another wheel guy that would have that amount of passion for your project… and i will say impossible to find one local. Nice to see you guys highlight all these craftsmen
I did tires for years. My last shop I managed I had the Auto34 installed, same machine he’s using. I loved the process of mounting and servicing high end wheels and tires. That machine is absolutely worth every penny when dealing with high end wheels and tires.
Back in the 70's as a kid I used to work at a tire store installing mostly big tires and rims for four wheelers, but sometimes a sport car like a Porche would show up with it's delicate magnesium rims and those I would do by hand with a couple of tire irons with plastic guards, my foot and soapy water. Nothing to it.
That's a sweet tire changer! I'm glad I'm not the only one putting paste on the wheel and tire like that. Haha. Also I like the wheels billet aww yeah 👍
I'd like to see him demount it for a puncture repair or to change it, I'm sure it would be scuffed. Most high end equipment clamps on the outside of the wheel and it's held face down so all the work is done on the back lip, but there's more than one way to do it.
I don't see much use for a 25 profile in any tire, especially for "on the road" vehicles. 50 profiles are stiff enough. Nice tire equipment...too bad a lot of tire shops don't use them.
My hands were sweating cmon baby pop over cmon. I don't know how many tires I've mounted but I learned on the old low manual pneumatic pedal operated machine ls that would gladly break your arm if you weren't paying attention.
my first job was tires/oil changes; I never saw one rim as different from another. each was treated as if it were my own. of course, back then I didn't give a shit...

Agreed!
Those wheels!!! Where art, and engineering cross paths, and stir the passion of all.

Impressed! His knowledge, passion, and oh yeah, that 25k wheel. Wow.
So cool to see that thing up close and personal. I bet this guy was sweating bullets!
As a former tire guy, this made me so anxious, I would have been scared shitless of these wheels
No shame in the Duramax game. 49k for a new '03 2500 HD CCSB 4x4, still drive it every day. One of the best investments I've ever made.
if you put tire lube on the inside of the tire as well it makes that last part of the bead pop over a lot easier

Thanks So MUCH.
GOD BLESS Y'ALL...
Fad of stupidly thin sidewalls
It's not a fad. Get used to it. Thankfully it's only aimed at certain demographics. It's as awful as calling rusted out buckets painted.
Hunter Engineering makes the best equipment in the world!!!
We called that wheel paste elephant jizz back in the high school auto shop days
Tyler, tx that's where I'm right now.

Those rims could buy 17 of the car I drive now lol

He's got a machinists eye for sure
Those tires have an index mark but he didn't line it up with the valve stem.
I'm a Tech as well. These look like a nightmare to install.
those would last 5 min until my wife would bust off a fin on a curb
Carbon revolution is here in my local town here in Australia 🇦🇺.... I have had to go in there to make up hosing for their machines
I’d love some BANKS gear on my Hilux diesel here in Australia. 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
That's not what you would call a Tire Monkey , But he's what most tire monkeys strive to be !!!
Them wheels look like them cheap gm stock wheels they come on the 2022 Escalades but at least the Escalade wheels don’t look so dull.

Worst riding tire ever.
So no spare tire to swap out a flat
That tire is not a 25 series in the front, it's a 30.
Even number of spokes? I don't know...not a big fan.
$25000! Gulp 😧
Can you please up load a video of your engine turning at 7000 RPM
No. However, we will post a video of the engine turning at 5500 RPM. Stay tuned!
@@bankspower sweet been waiting forever to see it…
There is a point of no gains with some engines and high rpm. Many do just fine below 7,000 and some will simply cause more wear at those speeds.
These are more expensive than Warren Buffets ford taurus and they will keep buyer half broke for a while
Nerves for sure 😓
I was wondering what happened to the RAM that you guys got a couple years ago
Did it burn down and you guys had to change the engine with Duramax
The RAM is built. We haven't shot a video yet because we're waiting on the exhaust system to go on sale. 👉 www.autobiotags.com/cars/aa99996

It's a shame it's really a show truck
Not for long. We're just got a set of spare set of wheels and tires so we can tear them to shreds.
@@bankspower I suggest an inaugural banks burnout at cleetus and cars..

Unsubscribed right now. Who the f..ck would spend that much on wheels?
A company dedicated to creating luxurious vehicle parts? 🤦♂️ where did you think you are?
