Thank you! I can say that this title has stuck with me much better than most of what I've read this year. Can't wait for the sequel to come out in this format.
Idk, if wanna use my audible credits on this, I waste so many after Reddit recs, I did like Iron DruidSeries which was less romantic more story/world building. Does anyone know if the audio is online free? Perhaps another fantasy series, loved Sara Mass(not cresent city) disliked fourth wing though! I need something more than a YA series but not interested in over abundance of smut, any help? I feel like I’ve read it all…
Not sure if it helps to make up your mind, but I definitely wouldn't categorize this as YA. The vocabulary alone suggests it is made for an older audience. If you have a library nearby, you might try seeing if they have access to Libby or some other audiobook service so you can listen to the book for free. That's how I do most of my audiobook listening. Also, definitely not an overabundance of smut here. Emily is very reluctant to start a relationship because she recognizes her social awkwardness. I found it endearing, but your milage may vary.
It is a very strong perspective character. I’m eagerly awaiting the sequel in paperback. Also want to get a copy that matches my copy of the first book.
I felt very much the same about the book. Great observations!

Nailed it!
That was after a few attempts to get the book name and author out in a single take.
A fave!!! Love her personality!! ❤
