    Just found your channel. Very cool content. I really enjoy watching twins run the Moto America Series. I have a 17' SV 650 that is stock sans the rear and front suspension and I modified those pieces cause I'm a fat old man (5'9" 185 lbs) Love the bike and am getting ready for a novice track day school at Jennings. Keep up the great work.

    Very cool about the DL1000 throttle bodies. I heard someone put the TL throttle bodies on the SV1000. Was very sceptical. Like the SV1000 radiator too. I had a SV1000S K5. WOndering about the 2 spark plug heads vs the singles.

    Sweet SV. Can you explain what is the cap on top of the fuel tank? You mentioned hydrolock but how does that help?

    You have some sick transitions btw. 3:28 is awesome lol. just the way you pace and run the vlog vids have been awesome. the music you choose fits quite well. i was checking this vid again to compare your rear rotor; both parrish and madama use waved rear rotors, but you do not. is it more style or substance? or I guess longevity in case of endurance.

      When I had them made, all of them were more narrow than stock for weight savings. I had one made thicker (the one on this bike) incase a rider actually used the rear brake. Most do not.

    Where did you get the L bracket that connects the gsxr steering damper to the sv frame? About to do a gsxr frontend swap, and wanted to you the damper.

    hello, there i was on a bodykit swap project and found ur SV650 with the gsxr 2018+ front kit, i was wondering about how much time did it take to put it on or you just had to trim a few things off

    • @LWTRACER
      @LWTRACER  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's easy swap to do. Just need to trim the lower on the right side for the exhaust.
      The fairing stay needs slightly modified so the holes line up with the frame mounts.

    Curious if the farings from the 2018 gsxr would work with a 99-02 Sv650s if i got the fairing stay? I know the frames are different. If you know thatd be great, if not i still liked the vid. Great look and good for ideas on swapping fairings on my sv.

    • @LWTRACER
      @LWTRACER  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The fairings will work on the 1st gen SV.

    Do you move the coolant overflow on your sprint bikes too or just the endurance builds?

    • @LWTRACER
      @LWTRACER  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just the endurance bike that way you have another visual to know if the bikes is pushing coolant or not.

    I run with the same hpe fairing frame but my clutch cable hits it when cornering the bike. I see you do not run the stock clutch cable, can I ask from witch bike you use the clutch cable ? Thanks, have a great weekend.

    Trying to do an rsv4 superbike tail conversion on my k6 750. How much modification did it take to your sv subframe? I’ve got all my measurements and think it’s doable. Are you even using the subframe stock on the sv?

    Whats the benefit of using the Gladius Crankshaft?

    • @LWTRACER
      @LWTRACER  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It seems like it doesn't walk crank bearings as easily as the other years do. The Crank is much heavier from 1g/2g cranks.

    • @hilltop4847
      @hilltop4847 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Suzuki should have produced something like the R7 a long time ago. They could have sold it as the SV650R with GSXR suspension from the factory. I would have paid the extra money for it. Now I'm selling my sv650s for an R7.
