Where did you order? I ordered in Aliexpress twice and all two times were fake phones. There's no genuine Pova 6 pro on Aliexpress. Did you order on Amazon india?
Hey. I am a dinosaur when it comes to technology. Does this have good working GPS and are you able to connect SD readers do you know? Any help appreciated
It does have a GPS, and to my knowledge it does work decent. As for SD card readers, the Pova 6 Pro does indeed have a microSDXC card slot, allowing you to expand its storage capacity
The phone supports GSM, HSPA, and LTE networks, which are compatible with T-Mobile’s network technologies but its always a good idea to check with T-Mobile directly or use their compatibility checker tool to ensure full compatibility, especially for LTE bands and 5G support.

@PhonyPhonk I have Iphone let Mr telling you something. Chinese crap of phone haha 😄 why that phone cannot work with Verizon. Because it's Chinese crap 😄
From my personal experience and working with the phone and considering it supports GLONASS, GALILEO, and BeiDou positioning systems it performs quite well!
Probably fake or counterfeit. The phone is powered by a Mediatek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset with a AnTuTu score of 450K. It's fast, kind of decent. It's not slow.
Ah, you've got a choice between the Tecno Pova 6 and the Pova 6 Pro! The Pova 6 Pro generally offers more advanced features, like a better processor, improved camera capabilities, and possibly more RAM and storage. If you're into gaming or need a phone for heavy multitasking, the Pro version might be more up your alley. If you just need a solid, everyday phone without all the bells and whistles, the regular Pova 6 should do the trick. Any specific features you're looking for?
Depends on what use. If for raw performance, just gaming, I'd say it's alright for 3 years. Though, maybe in the future games will get demanding and needs more performance so you need to upgrade. But, for everyday common tasks such as watching videos, music, messaging, I think it'll last more than that. But, for Android update/security patch update, it only last 2 years. From Android 14 to Android 15.
Heating issue is a nah for me. I played Genshin Impact for 2 hours straight and I get a decent heat on the back, not too much heating. It's common for phones, not just this phone. So I recommend getting a cooler.
If you were in America, of course. It's hard to get those kind of phones. They are common in Asian countries like Indonesia or China. It's not easy to get a fake/unoriginal one. Those surprisingly cheap phones with heck of a performance is common in Asia. Brands like Xiaomi, Realme, Infinix and Tecno are common. They have their official stores here too, in Indonesia specifically.
Can it work on T-Mobile network in the USA

@@TheTechCriticYT Thank you. I was surprised that Aliexpress sells so many counterfeit products of their own Chinese products. lol.
Thanks for this nice review
No problem 👍
You haven't provided a review of the phone; instead, you're solely relying on AI to recite the specifications, which we're already familiar with.

I too received a counterfeit pova from Aliexpress :(
Your best bet is going to be eBay. But even that could be sketchy if you don’t research the seller reviews.
Where can can I buy it in Nigeria
JUMIA, Slot, Konga, Easybuy, Finet
I recently got one from Aliexpress & i totally regret it😢 cos phone is so f**ng SLOW! I wish i can sell off at a lower rate.

I'd say it's similar. In simple terms, Tecno Pova 6 Pro just gives you 5G, and that's it. To save a couple bucks, I'd say get the non-Pro one.
does it support goggle play
Yes it does
