I recently bought floraphobia it’s a bit strong in scent , namkha is my favourite scent but PAA ck-6 soaps perform best for me ,
Got me some A&E Peach & Cognac soap and splash coming after a few year's of looking 😊
I find the Parker Slant to be blade fussy and aggressive, may dig it out after not using it for that reason, Merkur and Yaqi Slants are neither blade fussy nor aggressive.

I get better feedback from the Parker Slant, than the Merkur 39c, Razorock Wunderbar, or Ikon Slant I have. I have the new Cognac, so I got to do this shave a couple times last week.

A very clean, and close shave. Your mustache area was without shadow. The Parker Semi-Slant performed well, albeit a few bites were committed. One must bear in mind that you loaded this razor with a Feather; that still is wholly sharp when slightly torqued. I believe my session would have been weeper rich, if not nicks galore. This lather was back on point. It was a Kevy-esque creme fraiche. Wonderfully peaked, full of moisture that imparted a sheen that most of us endeavor to create. I don't know where you could get a peach scented post shave, but after hearing the momentous news that Ian is finally re-opening The Groom Room! He just might have something to match this soap. If not in peach, then cognac for sure.Enjoy the remainder of the weekend, dear friend. Keep yourselves safe, and guarded under Riley's watchful eye.
Thanks Alex. I might try a milder blade. Slant razors always cause weepers when I use them. I'll buy a can of peachrs and use the juice from that as a splash 😂

A&E is on my A list, great products👌 I have the Razorock "Wunderbar" slant, fantastic razor, smooth, efficient, all machined SS and puts some serious torque on the blade👍👍a bit expensive but worth every penny IMO. Aren't you aware that Kevy owns the TH-cam Shaving Assn. and British Shaving Federation records for a first pass lathering job? It's over 5 minutes. He needed a nap after that video. He even had a custom wrist support made to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome conditions from constantly long lathering jobs! Nothing stops this guy from enjoying a 2 inch cushion for a first pass that basically shaves off lather and little stubble!

Perfectly timed for me, as I’ve just received this soap and splash. So this is a great introduction. I actually picked up the Parker Semi Slant when I visited the Gentleman’s Groom Room. Very happy to hear Ian’s opening back up, such an amazing shop I’m sure his regulars will be paying him a visit.

Amazing amount of thick lather from a very small amount of soap. I just purchased a tub of TOBS Tobacco. It has an extraordinary smell an of course the soap is always premium grade.

Great shave! 🪒 I’m waiting for this soap to be available in Maggards. It’s funny how people mark with a pen how many shaves they have done with a blade. I just rip the side of the paper about 1cm each time I use it. I usually get max 4-5 uses per blade 😊 No pen needed in the den!

The original Kaizen is a nice citrusy scent. If you like cologne scents, Monte Carlo is their take on Sauvage. Asian Plum is another great scent thats slightly different too. Kevy 👍
The Parker Semi Slant is my favorite razor. Plant to purchase the Parker 71R sometime next month, it's a three-piece.

Was it only two weeks ago that we were talking about this soap? I ended up in Forfar that day. Interestingly the Cognac note seemed to be missing altogether. In regards to The Gentleman's Groom Room opening on Monday, that is indeed great news. How lucky are we?

Great shave. We’re moving to phase 4 in which we reopen gyms, pools, movie theaters, indoor dining and so on in Illinois. If you were to lather your face for like hours and hours on end, you would pass out. And then someone will find you passed out with a brush on your hand and soap still on your face

Hello Kevy. That Parker is my daily shaver. I think you must go back shaving with that razor again but with Dorco Blue Platinum. Parker Slant razor is a bit agressive and feather is too. So Dorco Blue Platinum brings down a little bit the agressive part from that razor. That´s just my opinion. Try it. :) ;)

I'm sure it's not lost on Mr. Kevy Shaves that you lathered the TOBS soaps in 2 minutes and need 4 minutes to create your patented 2 inch customary first pass lathering cushion with more natural soaps.

Just popped an order in for one of these razors now love the look of it. How do you fancy the smell of Proraso white Kevy? Works great but the smell puts me off.

kevy a question : today I did shave with the Phoenix " la tierra mojada " soap, very good lather and slick, but at the third pass (against the grain ) the razor did not cut more hair , I found that maybe the reason was that I had a film of slick on my face , should I then each time I am doing another pass clean first my face with water, so that the extra soap slick disappears , is that correct or what was the mistake I did , greetings robert

This razor is more aggressive than the Merkur 37c for me and doesn't glides that easy.

Does Parker make a true mild DE razor? I have the 22R and absolutely love the design but cut my face up when I use it
You might look at one of their three-piece razors. They have a EJ/Muhle stlye head, which should be mild. I plan to purchase the Parker 71R next month.
The mildest Parkers are their open comb razors, 24c & 26c, which are somewhere around Edwin Jagger/Muhle 89 in aggression and are excellent shavers. The Parker safety bar “89 type” heads are a step up again

I'm almost certain that this is Parker's first (ever) slant razor iteration. I have this razor, and I don't think it is a good take on a slant. You are right, it is an efficient razor but it is not a smooth shaver. In my (subjective) view, there is chatter to the blade because the sandwich between the bottom & top plates is *not* tight, hence the chatter that I find. There is absolutely no such issue with Merkur's classic slant, the 37c. Superb razor this 37c. Equally efficient & smooth. The blade exposure on this Parker slant is fine. No problems with alignment. But I think there is chatter to the blade as you shave with this P. slant. I have not seen many UTube reviews praising this slant to high heavens. No outright rejections either, but more of standard, polite, muted acknowledgements of P's first slant. It's my honest impression from this slant. No intention to offend any one. Cheers Kevy!

I have a Parker semi-slant and I haven't had any blade chatter problems. It is difficult to tell if you are over tightening or not. I usually use it as snug as possible without stressing the threads, but as always YMMV.

Parker is an Indian Razor. Kali, is the 4 Arm Hindu goddess. You keep getting weepers on neck when you use his slant...Hmmmm.. I wonder if someone or something is sending you a message....? :P
