I know it's like what do these guys be thinking when they decide to make a TUTORIAL or TIPS video but they don't even know the most basic information or straight out say wrong things. Like don't make a video if you're half a re-re or don't even put the effort to know the game.
@s379Ox Well to be honest most of the time I find it's the hold duck to slide or something, but exactly right. It pretty basic, and it is infact in the tutorial anyways. So... as you said, the above comment is a damn tip. Not that u can slide down ladders. Idk
Nearly all of these are available in the game in the PDA after getting into the Zone after the “intro mission” minus the tips, like the bolt suggestion, it’s a preference, and the stealth kill is a preference, and the repairing is a preference. The PDA is your friend, use it often but don’t do it when you’re out in the middle of nowhere, the zone doesn’t stop for you.
I've been able to clear out plenty of places by sneaking around with a suppressed pistol. I'm really confused by how many people are saying stealth doesn't work
@@TheRoboticFerretsometimes it works for me too. But i have had several times where i throw a bolt and they come to me rather than go to where the bolt made noise. Also i have had many times where i will run far away and hard left or right to flank, like around a building or to a different floor in a building. And as soon as i peak out everyone starts shooting at me. It seems almost impossible to break contact and reengage without being seen right away.
@@NibNa5ty it's possible, you make something wrong, i've been hiding within the location and they loose interest in me, ( but it take time ) if you leave to flank them in a short time, they are in search mode so ofc they spot you, and flash light + noise make you easy to spot, when travel at night with flash light i've been seen countless of time from a good distance, you can crouch and walk ( x ) on pc you moke slower, but make less noise ( the noise meter it's the blue line below the compass if you don't know )
They don’t see you through walls, they hear you. And enemies see you from a not even far enough to be realistic range. I don’t think k it’s supposed to be Ubisoft where you can be loud and two inches from someone at the right angle lol. Mods make the stealth and ai better on PC but it’s not as broken as people are saying. I’m creeping on guys all the time.
You can just hit space when going down the ladder and then W or S to hold on before hitting the deck. Fastest way but don’t wait too long to deploy the schute😉
If you want to stay more stealthy and less likely to be detected , grab the flower artefact found in the poppy field, Once you grabbed it equipped it then go to sleep and this should give you an added status boost from the flower.
Also, when scavenging downed stalkers, don’t dismiss the damaged (red) condition guns in their inventories; they contain ammo as well. Don’t ignore them just because they’re not sellable. Open downed enemy’s inventory, right-click on the gun(s) you find in there and select Unload. Or, just grab it really quick if you’re in a pinch and need ammo, find cover, open your inventory, unload it and drop it. You’d do it in real life, I imagine. The pistol an enemy has on his/her person is going to be loaded when roaming a dangerous landscape 😉You have ammo all over the place.
Omg are serious, that's a lot of fucking words for something that YOU SHOULD HAVE FIGURED OUT BY PLAYING IT FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR, fuck me it's a shock people find the health bar and ammo counter these days
@@shawnfisher3457 That’s great info! Do you think it’s worth their sell value lugging them around across the map, or taking the time to store them? Travel with encumbrance might be tedious.

If everything is really dark, this means it is night time or you are indoors. It may also be dark because your screen in not plugged in. You also will not be able to see what is going on if you are not positioned in a place where you can see your screen, or if you haven't launched the game yet.
Also, btw, the spooky background music gets really annoying over time, in my opinion. You can turn this off in the game settings under "in-game music" if you want. I find it to be more realistic anyway.
Here's* shoot* an* what's* in front* I* know* game* doesn't* If you're gonna try and cook someone, it's probably best not to advertise your stupidity whilst you're at it 👍
A tip for controller. if you’re aiming down sight and press Y you can change your firing mode on your weapon without having to bring up the weapon wheel first. I just wish there was a way to do that to change ammo types too
On pc when your stash is open you can double click items from your inventory to automatically move them to the stash so there is no need to drag and drop
LB plus y on controller cycles the ammo in the weapon wheel . You can store as many items as you want quickly and efficiently by hovering over the item and tapping X. It's not a button prompt unfortunately so easy to miss Anomalies that are in a danger zone inside in anomaly that you can't easily grab can be shot at and will move to a safer location where they can be picked up I would recommend the money glitch to make the game more playable and enjoyable. I found it much more satisfying after eliminating the economy issues. Mainly the expense of repairing high-end suits was astronomical and I could never get enough food to keep up. Highly recommend using the money glitch. You can do it on console if you plug in a keyboard because it will require you to use a mouse for one aspect of the glitch. I'd recommend thunderberry for a crucial artifact. You will need a nice suit and a lead container to use it without getting eradicated. It is maximum endurance and maximum radiation but makes traversing the world so much efficient
Unfortunately stealth mechanics are bit broken in the game. Even if you take out an Enemy silently, the rest of the group is emediatly alarmed. Single stealth work's. Maybe they fix that in the future
Xbox Series S. Fighting Faust in the Duga, I chose to accept help up, it kills you, and now I CANNOT move in any of my save states. I've restarted my xbox, and I still can't move my character. 50 hours of playtime completely ruined.
