at 1:07, why do you go and parry the guardian? I also know you like to do this when towerdiving. What is its purpose?

When you parry the guardian you stun it and it resets your parry. So if you’re diving someone you negate the damage from guardian allowing you a few seconds to deal damage and back out freely, or if you’re going against a punch happy enemy it lets you have a free parry window which if the enemy attacks will most likely confirm the kill since you can get 2 charged punches for free after parrying someone.

@@cyrix2891 I would need to test it. I know you can parry the minions and they don’t *appear* to take increased melee damage (still takes about two hits) so I think the 30% increase in melee damage only applies to a parried hero but don’t quote me on that.

I think the problem is just that 95% of the lash players we play against or with are just dogwater. He's actually good if you can play him properly but most that play him aren't good at the game.

There is a matchmaking system. The people I play with when I'm solo vs with my newbie friends is often quite different. It's not done cooking yet but there is a matchmaking rating that the game tries to use to make fair teams.
