Arm strength proved to be an issue in bad weather conditions. Which will be a requirement. Tua is a good QB, but lacks the durability and consistency to be a franchise QB. Hope Miami drafts a QB and finally gets rid of Grier.
@@PedroMorales-jk5vv disagree. Tua's only issue in bad weather is gripping the ball. And that's in wet conditions. If it's windy, yeah, the ball may float around more, but that happens to everyone.
I have always been saying Tua has to scramble out the pocket and extend plays , make things happen. He must have been practicing scrambling around because I have been seeing him do just that this season. If he can start doing it every week, then he added another level to his game, and I would love seeing Tua stay in Miami and be our QB 1 for the future. 🙏💯🐬🐬🐬
Tua is a winner, and refuses to give up, which is why he is so important to the dolphins, not just because he’s really good, but because he brings the team and organization together, at least that’s what I have noticed. When Tua gets in trouble with injuries, it’s always because he’s trying to do too much. A great example of this is in the Thursday night bills game. Tua wasn’t going to stop trying to score, because he has drive, and when he knew that nobody in the team was going to be able to get the first downs they need, Tua takes matter into his own hands, and that’s why he got injured, because no one was getting open and no one was getting first downs. That’s why he took a chance, and tried to truck through the db. That why the Dolphins need Tua, he elevates the whole team.
Tua does not have a noodle arm. I challenge all of you to watch a video of him throwing mirrored so it looks like he's right handed. All of a sudden his throws look way stronger
This ^ is soooo true, looks just like Goff or Purdy back there. Plenty of arm strength, it just looks labored or weird because we're not used to seeing the ball from that angle.
@chasechevy8933 and to your point, I watched a mirrored video of Lamar throwing and he looked like he had the weakest arm in the league lol. It's something about the way our brains perceive things we aren't used to
Hope Tua can get through a Thursday night game. The last two times he has played on a Thursday night were against Cincinnati two years ago, and Buffalo earlier this year. Both times left him with a concussion that led to missing multiple games after.

I've followed the Dolphins since Shula's first press conference so have seen what championship level football looks like and what it doesn't. Our best players on this team are unfortunately all injury prone and have a tough time staying on the field...at 100% full strength we are a force to be reckoned with but the current roster we don't have the talent to go head to head with a good team in their house, especially in cold conditions and beat them. Until we prove we can do that we are going to just be a 500 team
If you move the ball 50 or 60 yds at a time your not controlling the clock. Tua gets those 3rd down conversions and eats up the clock...but it's nice when he chucks it 50 yds to hill or waddle.
Tua has plenty of arm when he has his feet under him. He has a noodle arm when he is moving his feet. People need to remember, he throws with his off hand, he's right handed.
Who cares if the fans want to trade him they can't trade him they don't have no power anyway I don't know why fans think that they run the NFL team that they pull for it's not even rational they are in the Twilight Zone😂😂😂😂😂
he played great last yr obviously but he only had two weapons to give it to. it became too predictable. defenses knew it was going to hill or waddle. this year miami has those two + johnu and achane whos playing great as a rb1 especially as a receiving back.
