I find it interesting that these days someone says, "It's great as a starter or if you're just getting into hi-fi" Why? Back in the day people bought what they could afford and often stuck with it and still bought records for years and years. Some people did buy something more expensive later on. I think these devices are fine for people who want a turntable and don't feel the need to buy something more expensive later, even though they are being told it's a starter table. It's like the common phrase used so often now, "price point". Why not just say 'price'. It seems everything is worded just to make a person think they need to spend more later. You don't need to. The older I get the more I play my mid-fi system rather than my expensive gear. The mid-fi gear makes me enjoy the music more because I am not thinking about how expensive the cartridge is or the cost of new 300B tubes. I am tired of that. Maybe I am just getting old, haha.

Yeah, “starter” implies to me also that one might not end up enjoying their vinyl experience and decide to ditch the equipment at no big loss. However, If someone CAN afford better gear, have the space and do like music enough to incorporate hi-fi, then don’t waste your time on a “starter”. Enjoy doing some research, drive around, ask questions and get a better setup from the start. Nothing wrong with that. It’s what I’ve always done with no regrets👍🏻✌🏻

@@bertroost1675 No you're not getting old, I'm 68 years young and I couldn't agree with you more! I'm so happy with this turntable along with my two Tribit Bluetooth speakers in stereo mode... I'm set. Just wish record stores would come back that the greedy industry destroyed... Peace ✌️

Lets face it this turntable and many others have everything that any mid tier Technics, Pioneer, JVC, Aiwa, Denon, Stanton, Dual, Sony, Audio Technica especially my old Lloyd turntable have. And more that many entry level models from At, Denon, Sony etc. Idk why call it entry level. Inexpensive yes entry level no. By its features its mid tier model.

@@reddogtm3321 I'm absolutely loving this turntable and so far I'm just using the killer built-in preamplifier... I highly recommend this for any vinyl enthusiast. I'm listening to a repress of Songs From The Wood and it sounds amazing! ✌️

No comments yet? Well what the heck. Wooden plinth. That's good. Dust cover. Check. Anti skate. Mmm huh. Manual. Yep yep. Love auto return though. Bluetooth and built in preamp? Boooo! Yuck. 😖. Looks very sharp. Thanks for the video 🤘

You’re welcome! Always can bypass the preamp if you want, and I’ve never touched the Bluetooth and don’t find it impedes anything. Thanks for watching!

Very good review but should you not remove the cover to prevent vibration. I will go and try to buy one for myself. Would be nice to see more set up information and your idea regarding set up this for the best result.

Looks like a basic AT3600L conical stylus. Not impressed. I'll stick with my Fluance RT83, at least it comes with the 2M Red and doesn't have Bluetooth or a preamp. No serious listener would bother with Bluetooth speakers or basic budget-powered speakers. Either get a preamp or a stereo receiver.

I use a Fluance RT85 myself. Seems like you missed the point of the video - an RT83 costs twice as much as this turntable. This is aimed for people who are buying a Crosley or other turntable in the $100-$150 price point. In that segment, I don’t see anything beating this. Thanks for watching!
