Born in the surf-rich city of Santa Cruz in 1982, Travis Reynolds inherited a creative outlook from his artist parents. Growing up amidst the waves, he started surfing at Pleasure Point at the age of 10. His father's move to Hawaii further immersed him in the surfing culture, shaping the trajectory of his passion for the ocean.
At 15, Travis received sponsorship from SC surfer and shaper Michel Junod, providing him with a pivotal entry into the world of board building. This opportunity allowed him to learn the intricacies of the craft, observing and absorbing knowledge in Michel's shaping bay for three years.
After finishing high school at 17, Travis returned to Hawaii, particularly the North Shore of Oahu, where he embraced surfboard shaping. Experimenting with his understanding of board building, he worked alongside master craftsmen like Brian King, Charlie Walker, Heitor Fernandez, and Luis Souza, refining his skills over the next five years.

fiberglass cloth, most likely 2 layers of 6 oz. on top and 1 layer of 6 oz. on the bottom
