The last time I went to Universal was in 2006 and I don't remember them having all these themed restaurants. So I'm excited to visit later this month and see all this new stuff.
Maybe the reason there isn't a line for Wimpy's is because kids these days don't know about the great deal where you can pay Tuesday for a hamburger today.
Perfect timing - we're setting up our reservations for our visit in two weeks. Confisco has become one of our favorites! Most of the quick service is just a bit too off my diet, but the full service restaurants have great heart-healthy options. We were also here a few months ago with our daughter who has celiac (when we met you!) and were very impressed with how much effort the team members took to ensure she received no gluten.
How exciting!! Universal's customer service really is above and beyond! Especially when it comes to accommodating people. We're so glad you all have had such a positive experience!!
We just got back from Universal in July 2022 and before we went I watched your videos to sort of get our bearings. They were very helpful and and I glad that I did.
I ate at Burger Digs the last time I was in the parks, my cousin and I were actually both craving a burger. The burger was not too bad there, but the best part is sitting outside on the back patio. It’s a pretty nice view of the park.
Great video. Very helpful. Circus McGurkus is always closed every time we go. No signs on the doors. Doors open but place it closed. Really odd. We also like that place in Jurassic Thunder Falls that serves chicken and ribs…really good. Loves watching the rafts come down and splash people.

That pad Thai at mythos is amazing! I love Asian foods and that is the best I’ve ever had!! And it’s not really heavy and the portions just right for a theme park lunch. Have it and I can get right back out there and start riding again

You should do a video at the Lakeland Antique Mall. They have a ton of Universal props from the park. The Harry Potter booth has lots of interactive wands.

We’re headed down again this month and decided that with the long wait times and need for reservations for city walk restaurants, that we would eat lunch in the parks for a change. We’ve never really done that in all the years we’ve been going so this is a huge help!

This is so helpful. I made notes for my trip next week. I am really interested in the food at Confisco Grill(you had me at ahi tuna nachos) and the kebabs at Desert Kebob as well as the burger at Wimpy’s.
@@ThePughTwo We loved the burger at Wimpy's, the tots at Green Eggs and Ham were good too. Didn't get a chance to go to Confisco Grill but had Mythos and it was excellent. The lamb meatball and and spanikopita dip were stellar. We did have ahi tuna nachos at Cowfish and those were really good along with the burgerushi. On the studios side, Minions Cafe was a hit and our first butterbeer ice cream was so good.

So, just got back today from Universal. We ate at Captain America Diner and I had the BBQ Burger. It was very good. You definitely need to try it. I also see so many people not talk about the Roasted Pork Ribs from Three Broomsticks. They are very good! That is my go-to for Three Broomsticks. Keep up the good work!!!
We've never tried the ribs, but they look great! We need to do that soon! The BBQ burger also sounds right up my alley. They have a BBQ bacon burger at the endless summer food court that's SO good. It sounds like you had an awesome time on your trip!

Hi Anna & Tyler! I do not eat in the parks often, I do love the Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese at Misto’s and I have grab a burger at Burger Digs, but I usually eat breakfast at my hotel in the mornings and then eat dinner in CityWalk in the evenings. I know that I should try some of the other sit down restaurants in the Parks, I would be interested in seeing a video on the food at Confesto’s as that is a place that I should try someday. Thanks for sharing your adventure and I look forward to more videos in the future. Ken
Confisco’s is so good! Definitely one of our favorite sit-down restaurants. I know we ate there in our Poseidon’s Fury video we did last Spring when we were hanging out with Jackie (Super Enthused).

We ate lunch at Blondies when my daughter and I were there back in June. We got the sub sandwich, I forget the name. Turkey and ham I think. They were really good. We walked to the Comic Strip Cafe and sat inside to eat, where it was cooler and since the cafe was closed. Took an extended rest there too. On a different day at Islands, we ate at Thunderfalls and we both had the pork pernil bowl. Very good. I recommend it. There are so many places that yall mentioned that I would like to try. Fireeaters Grill with the gyros looks good and is on my list. Thanks again for your vids. Keep em coming.

Would love to see you all do a "best sit-down restaurants" of Universal Orlando - ranked of course. Do a top 10 countdown as a lead up to your advice for horror nights. Include City Walk and both Parks. Throw in some of your fav dishes at each! Wife and I are coming down for our 9th straight (almost - covid) year of Horror Nights Sept 14-18th. We always look for places to chow down before heading over to the onsite hotel special entrance around 6pm. Would love to see where Big Fire, Mythos, or even the "Scareactor buffet" rank in your list for best eats before entering for a night of Dread!! We only come once per year and would love to see your overall rankings for new places to add to our list instead of falling back to our normal, usual 'haunts.' And Tyler, break out your "chapter" skills when uploading videos. Love all your posts Pughs - now that you're moved, time to up your TH-cam soft-skills game!
Thanks for the suggestion! We’ll keep this in mind and see what we can do. We love the food reviews, but we’re trying not to eat like we’re on vacation all the time now that we live here 😂🤣 it’s crazy how many of the CityWalk restaurants we haven’t eaten at or have only eaten at once!

Our go to at IOA is Confiscos! we finally tried Wimpys for the first time last year, and wow we were impressed!! Have never eaten at Comic strip Cafe, guess we should give it a try at some point. Maybe during a meet up! great coverage! ~Dawn

My wife & I actually tried some tots (we got pizza ones) & a burger from Wimpy's during our trip in May because you had talked about them in other videos. Both were excellent so thank you for the recommendation! And can't go wrong with The Three Broomsticks or Mythos for sure. We stay away from the two restaurants in Marvel lol

Louie’s would be SO GOOD cold the next morning! You can even buy a whole pizza and have breakfast for a few days lol. We love this idea, we’ll keep it in mind!

Circus mcgurkus is my favorite fast food location in either park. I love it for the theming it’s amazing for the younger kids.

Even if a restaurant doesn’t have indoor seating, you can walk to one of the places that does and take your food in there!

Would love to see you all do a "best sit-down restaurants" of Universal Orlando - ranked of course. Do a top 10 countdown as a lead up to your advice for horror nights. Include City Walk and both Parks. Throw in some of your fav dishes at each! Wife and I are coming down for our 9th straight (almost - covid) year of Horror Nights Sept 14-18th. We always look for places to chow down before heading over to the onsite hotel special entrance around 6pm. Would love to see where Big Fire, Mythos, or even the "Scareactor buffet" rank in your list for best eats before entering for a night of Dread!! We only come once per year and would love to see your overall rankings for new places to add to our list instead of falling back to our normal, usual 'haunts.' And Tyler, break out your "chapter" skills when uploading videos. Love all your posts Pughs - now that you're moved, time to up your TH-cam soft-skills game!
Thanks for the suggestion! We’ll keep this in mind and see what we can do. We love the food reviews, but we’re trying not to eat like we’re on vacation all the time now that we live here 😂🤣 it’s crazy how many of the CityWalk restaurants we haven’t eaten at or have only eaten at once!

Our go to at IOA is Confiscos! we finally tried Wimpys for the first time last year, and wow we were impressed!! Have never eaten at Comic strip Cafe, guess we should give it a try at some point. Maybe during a meet up! great coverage! ~Dawn
Confiscos is like a must for us at least once a month! It’s so good!
I was bummed that the cheesesteak tots were removed but the carnitas tots look like a delicious replacement!
They’re honestly better in our opinion! The cheesesteak tots were probably my go-to, and I’m not upset after trying them! Lol

My wife & I actually tried some tots (we got pizza ones) & a burger from Wimpy's during our trip in May because you had talked about them in other videos. Both were excellent so thank you for the recommendation! And can't go wrong with The Three Broomsticks or Mythos for sure. We stay away from the two restaurants in Marvel lol
😂🤣 Marvel is great, but the only food we get there is the pizza pretzel lol. We’re glad you guys liked the tots and Wimpy’s! People always talk about theme parks like the food is mediocre but if you know where to go, you can find some great food at Universal!

NEXT ViDEO idea: best foods to buy in park and take back to Universal hotels (no microwaves in room, yes you can use their microwave in lobby grab-n-go food areas.). Also, how to take it back. I personally do two slices from Louies in gallon baggie... And just eat it cold
Louie’s would be SO GOOD cold the next morning! You can even buy a whole pizza and have breakfast for a few days lol. We love this idea, we’ll keep it in mind!

You can look up allergen info online! Universal is really great about sharing that info. You can now get it without the dairy topping, too!
