IDK, the scarf, wrap, sarong addition seems cheap. It makes the contestants akward and they are concentrating more on what to do with this fabric than smiling, engaging the crowd/judges, and just feeling comfortable. They obviously don't come with the bathing suit. So if you have to have it, let them give it to the judges or patron of choice. Or just hand it to staffer. This isn't gymnastic. Would you rather focus on n this fabric or the models and their wonderful suits? Great show and contestants as always. Bravo!
for the women who don't know how to walk and use the sarong you are right. but for the women who know how to professionally walk and use props it's 100% a win. adding the sarong adds a level of difficulty and I like seeing the creativity/burden of the sarong and how they deal with still looking relaxed, easy going and engaging. but you make a good point, but it only harms the lesser contestants. in the end they chose the woman with the best combination of curves, feminine face and long neck. lots of those women were immediately removed from winning because of their face. one woman had a HUGE chin. why she's up there I have no idea. and a few of the women were just out of shape, with poor figure or sloppy looking. a few clearly didn't know how to apply make-up and one just ugly -- i see better shop girls.
#4 has my vote, #3 was a little hottie,#7 had a beauty mole but her smile was amazing,#8 is like girl next door, #10 was cute but needs smile more and relax with the tan,#16 makes me think naughty stuff lol, #19 reminds me of Wonder Woman,
Something in the facial expression of the winner (9:36) makes me think she already knew she was the winner. She's not even wearing a visible number (should have been 19). She's very attractive, but I would have given it to #16.
