As a Volvo driver myself, I find it very sad to see a Volvo being abused like that. I guess that the safety chain was made by Volvo too! Certainly a sturdy little bugger!

My missus reckons that would be her if she had to tow the van. Hence she doesn't get behind the wheel . Will see the border crossing again in about a weeks time, on my way over to QLD . All by myself trip over

Safety Chains held , only reason she stopped is she realised she had not hope of getting away, and the wheels were locked driverside was not rotating .

Why are there borders between states?
Each State is responsible for its own health regulations... State Govts can and do set "hard borders" between them to control and police the spread of Covid... The WA State Govt being the worst and most recalcitrant at doing protracted police state antics - presumably because the WA premier figured out that its great state's natural mineral wealth partially single handedly feeds the whole nation... If those over paid, over-bloated WA mine workers become struck down with covid - the whole nation suffers economically.....

It was there before the pandemic. Fruit fly mostly. any thing agricultural going to the WA. Can not have any dirt or any type of seeds any thing. and you need permits take things across.

They even went right through the fur of my heeler and dingo looking for seeds from invasive weeds and parasites. My dingo loved the attention and didn't want it to stop. My heeler had to be muzzled and didn't appreciate being molested as she thought by a stranger.
