Each character in my opinion has their own fair share of games that are the easiest for them. This is just an example of games 5 volt can be good at. There are plenty of micro games , though, such as ones with precision, moving objects away, ect that are very difficult for her character since she can not move around besides teleporting.
That's why you want to have a balanced team. My team of five is 5-Volt, Orbulon, Young Cricket, Ashley, and whoever I feel like playing at the moment (or Wario).
I wouldn't say she's that op, microgames where you have to do an action with swinging or rotating, even collecting a certain amount is actually very difficult with 5 volt

All you have to do is pop up before the bee and hit the grapes. Alpharad has a good "tutorial" (if you're really that bad) he half assed with his 2P trolling him and still won.
I beat it on level 3 first try with her(it’s actually required in story mode, now that I think about it). Just keep mashing teleport. She’s not a great choice for it but she can do it.
considering 9-volt has the BEST minigames, they developers felt the need to make 9-volt the worst character in the game in order to balance that fact out.
5-volt would be S tier, but we would still see other characters such orbulon (as seba pointed out) and lets be honest, Online would boost up sales if it was actually good
Don't forget "Timing" as well, cause in my opinion, these microgames go a bit faster (Even regular speed) than microgames on the other Warioware games.
There's also the one where you have to avoid being grabbed by the hands, and she struggles with that one more than any other character due to the fact she has a fast fall and a short time between when she can teleport one time and when she can teleport the next

Maybe something they can do to tone her down is by limiting how far her teleport can go, like she only being able to teleport within an area that follows her around or something, so she’s required to teleport multiple times to move, and each microgame having this area shifting in size to accommodate her teleport to the microgame’s gimmick (like sometimes letting her go all over the screen, but other times she can only teleport very close by), instead of super effortlessly teleporting straight to the exit while everyone else has to solve puzzle & half to reach the same goal

There are some things she's not very good at. Like the one where you need to spin a windmill. Really any game that involves pushing objects tends to be difficult for her.
i think the shock is pretty strong so pushing isn't a problem is the fact that you have to tele besides the object (not on them) cause is hard to be presice with the spirit guiding since the shock is small.
Orbulon is pretty good too, especially since with some he just plain cheats, I've only played the demo but I knew for a fact that orbulon would be top tier just cause of the fact that he breezes past the smash the pig and keep in the air ones
he is in the top 3 for sure though i still think ashley is better cause in some games like the trash bag one, the boss in intro (he cannot 1 shot the boss and he tends to die in higher difficulty when the boss is at the top of screen), bottle, having things be top of screen... ashley can move in all directions and shoot, shes prob the best in game and most consistent. Dribble is up there as well unless the items appear on the left side of screen, and mike is pretty good too prob top 3. Flight does give ppl a ton of advantages.

She enters into the TV to scare both of them and makes the Rod of discord drop on her, and now she's able to teleport any location of her ghost now. AKA. 5-volt is now OP.

There has *GOT* to be some fascinating lore behind 5-Volt. Is she a descendant of an ancient bloodline that specializes in supernatural abilities? Does she have a bit in common with Ashley because of said supernatural abilities? Is 9-Volt actually adopted because he can't go inside and out of TVs and doesn't have a demon rage form like his supposed mother does?

Imo, the Wario Ware dream team is: 5 volt: because of teleporting and "get to the goal"/"escape" minigames Orbulon: because of how many minigames you can cheese with him Either Ashley or Cricket: Ashley is just good, play Cricket if you want yo have more fun
When you play with a full team the game is nicely balanced I think. Sometimes a game is a free pass, sometimes you struggle, but that‘s the fun imo. And Score Challanges are with full teams for this reason I think.
1. Her clapping animation is very memeable depending on the situation. 2. Sure she may be OP in where positioning/moving is majorly important but her weaknesses are also significant, such as not being able to mash attack or being easily left vulnerable in the endless fight thing while you move your cursor.
Let's remember she's not just the most powerful character, she's also asleep during the microgames. The "I'm only using 1% of my power" meme is probably true on this woman.
I found that some of the most broken characters are the ones who can fly and shoot projectiles in any direction. Most minigames are a piece of cake for them.
This video brings back memories of when people were discovering this game and trying to figure out which characters were the best. I came back here because this game is about to turn one year old.
