It’s wonderful for Toto to bond with this sweet baby. Sumo chose her mommy. Don’t think Momoko really bonded and baby was care for initially by Komomo an by whole troupe, but than something miraculous happened, she found solace, comfort and calmness an how special that she chose Toto who never had her own this is a lovely video

One video I saw Sumomo was sleeping in Toto's arms and Toto was in a very awkward, uncomfortable position. Most mothers would have gently shifted positions, but Toto didn't budge an inch and just cradled her. Very sensitive, loving gorilla and maybe that is why Hakao is so fond of her too. Even Momoko is fond of Toto. Thank you for the sweet video. I am so glad her leg is better and she is back with her family. 💛🙏🏻

Momoko doesn't care about Sumomo . Momoko couldn't bond with Sumomo . Sumomo was raised by the troop.
