- Here is 21 More Small Details in Red Dead Redemption 2, ok so this is the final part to the Red Dead Detail series and I have to say, not once did I think that I'd be spending so long looking at a single game and it's detail but here we are 48 days and 115 details later, this game is the most detailed game of all time and probably will stay that way for years to come, Thanks Rockstar for making a brilliant game all round and for caring for the little things!

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Western-themed action-adventure video game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption, and the third entry in the Red Dead series. Set in 1899, it follows the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang. After a botched ferry heist, Dutch van der Linde and his gang, which includes Arthur Morgan and a young John Marston, are forced to flee their hideout in Blackwater and attempt to cross the mountains west to evade law enforcement. In order to fund their escape, Dutch has the gang rob a train belonging to the wealthy oil magnate Leviticus Cornwall. A furious and vengeful Cornwall then hires the Pinkerton Detective Agency, who send Agents Milton and Ross to apprehend the gang. As a result, the gang is forced to be constantly on the move to stay one step ahead them. All the while, Morgan and the rest of the gang continually have to perform numerous jobs and heists to keep the gang funded as Dutch continually promises one last, big heist that will secure their freedom.

- When Arthur has a woman bathe him, he's kinda flirty. When John has a woman bathe him, he acts awkward and unsure about it, even making it clear that he's married and that his wife is amazing, etc.

I found an amazing detail in this game. I chased a rabbit just to see till where it goes. Turns out, they don't run from you all the time. After a chase of about 5 minutes, the rabbit went inside a hole in a tree and hid till I left. I watched from afar with a binocular and the rabbit poked its head out. Then, it came out again.

There is another detail that pedestrians will react at your blood clothes and that arthur/john will inspect their weapons
You forget one detail.
When you fall off to a (Not Finished) wood house, the wood will break or the roof. And you can torch and burn down the house if you like.

If you get into a fight, with a gang member near, they will come and help you and even sometimes shoot the attacker.
This happened to me as I was brawling with a guy in valentine when javier came out of nowhere and shot the attacker several times, however I did get charged with murder and lost honour for some reason.
Arthur's voice lines paired with the frantic trigger pulling at 10:36 is hilarious
The reason that I love this game so much are these tiny details, in a lot of videos like this but with different games, people will point out things that would be noticeable if they were absent. But in RDR2 so many of these are so minor people may not even notice them, and I love that because it shows the care and thought put into the game

Three details I’ve noticed personally:
• If you throw a body into the water in the swamps and wait a bit, an alligator will eventually come up and devour it.
• If you run into the Spanish guy who bets money on shooting for 20 dollars and you don’t have enough money after losing, Arthur will say he doesn’t have enough and he will try to kill you and looting him will reward you the amount of money he betted.
• Idk but I had this experience and this really is an emphasis on the AI but I was taking down an O’Driscoll camp and the last guy was covering behind a wagon so I decided to flank around and get in close and he noticed so he ran in my direction and tackled me before I could tackle him
• If someone outside of the gang happens to be near camp and they are hostile towards you, someone from the gang with shoot them dead and your game will reload as if you died.
• If your horse is at a slightly higher elevation than normal and you try to get on, Arthur will do an emphasized animation to show the extra struggle it took.
• Arthur will try to keep his hands warm if you’re not wearing gloves in the cold
• Arthur tips his hat sometimes upon greeting Mary-Beth, his supposed love interest.
I think Arthur generally has more respect for Mary-Beth because shes a sweet young girl whose into journeling as Arthur is too and since no one else shares that interest as them both he likes her as a person. You can tell when they talk he likes her a lot. I think his real love interest but never could happen was Sadie
You forgot the most important thing: John needs floatys

When under TB anything will make him cough and reject it after a few allowed consumptions. So you can't spam medicine in a fight for instance.
Ah yes John cant swim! I found this out as I watched John drown in a pond just deep enough to swim in. Stand up John . That’s how easy it is to not die.
I chased an elk into the water as John while on horseback and once it got too deep my horse bucked ms off and John started drowning, I barely made it back to shore with only a sliver of health...and I lost the elk

I don't think people comment on Arthur's weight. Since he had tuberculosis it made him lose massive amounts of weight so that guy was talking about the disease. A lot of NPCs comment on Arthur's appearence when he has TB.
in my opinion this game was even more ahead of its time than the first rdr when it came out in 2010, and that's really saying something
This is what happens when you give passionate devs the time and money to do their work.
I was watching a three star snake in the water when a whitehead eagle stooped down and carried it away while the snake was still moving in its grip trying to escape.
I found another pretty cool detail (some people might know about this) but when you shoot a shopkeeper in the head, there is a chance they survive with their wounds bandaged up.

On the one about John not being able to swim, during Chapter 2 if you talk to John, Arthur will say "You afraid being this close to the water?"
GTA IV has an amazing CCQ system, utilizing Krav Maga; which is still amazing in every way. GTA V has a “HUGE” variety of like 3 punches, a weird stomp kick, and one combination, oh, and auto-death after knockout. RDR 2 is definitely the best but it would have been cool if we could go to a boxing club and learn new fighting moves or something.
Game Designers: I doubt anyone will notice.

i saw many people complain of how slow some mechanics are like looting or hunting and there are anymations for cutting the animal and other, honestly i prefer 10000000 times more than game with no animations and people are just complaining too much if they think that rdr2 is slow

9:27 I saw that too after I saw 2 bighorn rams head to head on top of a hill and observes a pack of wolves hunting deer. Those 110gb is not for nothing.
The most major detail that rockstar missed out on minuet as it may be, bounty posters with Arthur, Hosea, Dutch's face on them if the pinkertons and bounty hunters are searching for these guys why wouldn't there be bounty posters put up with their faces around different towns? If rockstar had remembered to put bounty posters up for Arthur that would have given us a good reason to use the beard and hair growing system. You go into Valentine and see yourself (Arthur or John) on a bounty poster so you hide out for a bit change your appearance grow your hair cut your beard viola! You're now a bit harder to detect in public also changing clothes to stay off the radar if you travel around killing and looting in your bear hat all the time you'll be easier to spot by civilians and police and bounty hunters. BUT NO rockstar missed the bus on this one.

Another cool detail is that if you back in the mountains, go to the lake. It should be frozen. Shoot it, and you can hear the echo of the Ice. And if you just walk on it, Arthur/John will slip a little and you can also hear the echo. Sry this is a long one.

First time i played RDR2 i cried when Arthur died, he meant so much too me. All my favorite character's died, i got so sad. But i kept playing and playing to get memories of them
