I think Shift Street. You can't find it on rfactorcentral because it is considered illegal because the car models are converted from NFS Shift, but it looks great and the physics feel very realistic. And most importantly, it has a lot sports cars and supercars :)
I know this video is old and all, but I wanna quickly share that my rfactor game is about 128 gb because of how much mods it has 💀 Including the mods from the video too the only ones im missing are the Super TC2000 and F1 1975 IPE v1.2, maybe you have a google drive you can upload them on?
I think there are so many good/great mods its impossible to narrow it down. As soon as you think you have seen all the good ones, up pops another one that you don't know about...
You can modify the line "Steering Wheel Range=270" in your controller .ini file, which is inside Rfactor/Userdata/Yourname, to match the degrees of rotation of your wheel. Just input the degrees you prefer, I use between 380° (F1) to 900°
Thanks for the tip. About audio I have everything on max quality, and max effects which are a lot lower than what my sound card can do. I will try the brake pressure on max, though I don't see how can they be related, but thanks anyway!
I don't know, I've never played iRacing, but nothing about rFactor *without* mods feels realistic. There are some mods out there that improve rFactor greatly.
Holy shit! this looks so awesome! How come I was unaware of this game! Anyways, is there multiplayer/LAN play available in the game? That would be a blast! Man very soon, I need to start saving for a racing sim gaming setup!
This will change with new AMD PC based consoles. They will have no problems (from a technical standpoint) running the most sophisticated CURRENT racing Sim titles and beyond. Cost no object PCs are much more powerful and have excess/surplus power to render ultra high frame rates over multiple ultra high res monitors with current titles. It would be nice to see a race title that actually challenges both the computing power of the CPU and GPU of such a high end PC. Crytek meets Crammond!.
Sorry, mate, I don't understand what you wrote. My TH-cam doesn't have an auto-translate feature. I guess it's about the mods and their availability; most old rFactor mod sites aren't up and running these days, and I wouldn't know where to find a majority of the mods. I intended to do a follow-up video, but life got in the way. Cheers
@@pablopolanka Man I'm trying to register on this site but they ask for the "racecast", how can they ask for something that we don't know, how do you do that? I don't know what 'racecast' is. Sorry for not writing in English, using google translator, the site seems to be working, but the registration is being made difficult by the request of this one: 'racecast' that I don't know what it is so I don't know how to fill this field, consequently , there is no way to register. But thanks for your attention.
@@Ney179 Can you be more specific about which site? Are you referring to rFactorcentral.com? You need to sign up (register) to download any mods; the same happens with many other sites, i.e. Racedepartment, a good source of all kinds mods for many racing games. I'm not up-to-date with the modding scene and Factor 1 these days, I've been busy with other stuff. hope this was useful. Cheers mate!
And I don't know if it's just another bug, but in the game on idle the sound is almost mute, as soon as I accelerate, the volume increases like hell, this is really bad It's just like an effect for idle, one for rpm going higher, one for rpm going lower, and one for rpm cut (that's what their sound engine sounds like)... Even crappy games like NFS have good sounds (though doesn't mean they are realistic, but have good sound quality that you can't hear it as sound effects, but as a real car).
GT doesn't have much of a career (just a bunch of races with low rewards) but I see what you mean. For me rFactor isn't buggy though, and it's one of the best sounding games (car wise) I've ever played. The reason we don't have a game like that (while it would be good) is because the pure simulators like GTR2 have all their time focused on being a simulator and not a game (like I said earlier, physics, tire models .etc)
yes i checked it was turned on and on the display when i was drving i have to check again if not i will install the mod again because i know it's turnd on it's aways on and i rolled out of the pits and i was suprised of that i spinned i checked afther that and it was on
***** Make sure both your pedals and the wheel are properly configured, both in the profiler and in-game. And remember appropriate driving technique is absolutely necessary when pushing the cars to their limits. Happy driving!
This is precisely what I'm saying. a console just can't simulate things in anywhere near as in-depth a fashion as a high end PC because they just don't have the compute power
I dunno, is it near Disneyworld? ;) More seriously, the rally world mod is great but they keep uploading new stuff so regularly I can't keep up with trying out all the cars lol
Unfortunately, rFactor 1's community has shrunk considerably and many of the mod hosting sites have disappeared. Racedepartment and a few others have a few of the mods, but I'm not sure about several of those in the video.
do you know any FREE site for downloading mods for rfactor???cause so far i found none. You need to pay for the downloading site cause they have MAX 3 free downloads.
Check on description above. You can Buy/try rfactor 1 or the newer (and better) rFactor 2 from rfactor.net. Mods are all over the place, but start at www.rfactorcentral.com
Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Pay $20 for rFactor and hope and pray that someone makes a decent mod for it to make it worth playing or pay a monthly fee for a racing sim that is always advancing with it design. I like the other racing games too but that is what they are, games. rFactor2 is an improvement but it still depends on others to make it worth playing. I would gladly pay rFactor2 monthly if it had a dedicated design team but they rely on the public to make it better
GTR 2 is based on the same engine as rFactor (gMotor), but it's slightly different than the current rFactor build (1.255). It feels more like a "game" to me, not as hardcore as rFactor. Regardless, it's aged well and I still play GTR 2, esp P&G mod. Assetto Corsa is very well made, and it is current-gen, unlike rFactor and Gtr 2. But, inmho, it still lacks a bit of definition in the physics department and FFB, but not much. It's in the same league as rFactor 2, and Iracing ntmv5, even when each of these have their own ways to approach simulation.
yeah nogripracing dotty com or rfactorcentral dotty com are the most well known ones. You have to sign up for them but its free to do so and they don't spam you or anything so there's nothing to lose from doing so (as far as I can see). If you don't want to sign up to a site/forum, there are other sites. But its best to use one of these if you want to be part of the community.
My friend fanatic by cars also tested that mod (i went into his home and installed the game), and he also didn't liked it. Anyway he drives a BMW E30 318 1800cc. I can't seem to like this Rfactor, or LFS and some others. The only ones I actually find realistic and works well is GTR1\2; Gt Legends; WTCC. GT Legends for example uses Rfactor game engine too, but looks like it's 100 years ahead, lights are way better, sounds are way better, and the handling is WONDERFUL (BEST I EVER PLAYED)
yeah. I guess if you're working for williams, you aren't getting paid for the shiny things. I would love to have a drive of rFactor pro, though. it would be an interesting experience to say the least
Pablo Sch I drove a Camaro GT3 on Sepang before. I have to say that the Camaro GT3 on Sepang in rFactor2 is one realistic simulator. The car behaves just like it should on the track. There are bumps on the track that we use as brake point indicators and I actually feel it on rFactor 2. rFactor1.... It is not realistic. Cars don't brake and handle as they should, they feel floaty. Someone did GT mods for rfactor2 and those cars modded from rfactor1 do not give authentic feeling compare to rfactor2's GT cars.
I can't really disagree. Online, iracing can't be beat, and physics wise and everything-else-wise it is quite good to say the least. But there are these nuances and subtleties in rfactor's physics department, when properly implemented and exploited. I'm thinking of what Niels Heusinkveld has achieved, the guys at Historix, DRM Revival, and so on.
Maybe one of the best videos about rFactor mods! Keep up the great work, mate!
Thx, Pabliten!
That's true. Forza is entertainment only, rFactor is hardcore sim-racing.
This game looks great, also nice graphics and the Car Hud also works like a real one, really impressive.
One of the best videos i never seen before about a great game as rFactor, nice!
rFactor will rock this world till its end, nothing can break this statement!!
I still use rfactor, absolutely love it

I'm sooooo going to repair my pc and move GTA V for this..
Loved this game, played it for years and improved it every month with new mods!
I love Rfactor! I have tons of mods!
me too!
Lots of great mods
I had not heard of rFactor Pro, I will have a look thanks.
Yeah the Forza 2 sticker caught my eye too haha! Pretty cool that there is a Super TC 2000 mod apparently...

What happened to your engine sounds on the 1937 mod? I could hear the starting sound play over and over in the background.
Still better sounds than Gran Turismo
+Da Boss way better on some mods
Hey, Great video! I need help with my G27 settings, if you can help much appreciated! Also where did you get the C6.R from?
You put here Legend Cars ... but what about VLN Mod ??? That monster mod is huge !

Most amazing this my ears have heard
Got a link for Pixim Cars V2?
Great choice of mods and tracks!
Please, where i can download the gsc2012 tp?
Where can I download Sandrox's F1 2012? Can't find it anywhere...
Great video!!
a fun little game can be, for lack of gran turismo and forza it can be a fun alternative to the worn pc that will test today
2012 Corvette C6....best car mod for rFactor, by far.
That's not too bad a rig. the only thing wrong with it is the wheel :P. If i had that rig, i wouldn't feel at all embarrassed.
I think it must be your end or something. For me and everyone else I know who plays rFactor it's fine and the sounds are great.
Great vid :),i love rfcator.
Please, where i find the GSC2012 Track Pack that you have mencioned? Thanks!
Fantastic mod
How do you disable camera movement in cockpit view?
hey in the historx mod video could yu link that track? looks great?

fantastic!!!!
why does the red bull simulator use rfactor pro then?
hello how to season race in the game?
Holy shit! this looks so awesome! How come I was unaware of this game! Anyways, is there multiplayer/LAN play available in the game? That would be a blast! Man very soon, I need to start saving for a racing sim gaming setup!
how to get these graphics? i have everything at max but it still look bad !
Where can I get GSC2012 Trackpack? Thanks mate!

el Super TC 2000 :3 muy bueno !
Es genial, pero los de 2PEZ también, y ni hablar de GSC Extreme.
@maxisantini No los tengo más. tendría que hacer una buena búsqueda, pero está difícil.
