Having mild cerebral palsy, I have been bullied, marginalized, and ignored. Now people just think I am a senior at 58 lol. So I absolutely love that you include people with disabilities! Most of us don't care about "inspiring" people, we just want to be included.

I am a big guy with no medical issues, but i was also been bullied, marginalized and ignored most of my life just for being an introvert. There is no comparation, i just want to say that is nothing wrong with you! There are bad ppl, and there are also good ones.You just need to stick with the good ones.

OMG! I made it on the handicap video. The best night I had in a long while. Thank you Matt for taking a selfie with me, and also hugging Nicole after taking a picture with me. Matt really brings people together, I wish I could have purchased tickets for the tour they were all sold out when I found out about it. So glad you got a good night and a great memory out of it Ryan! And Nicole was just having a blast, I mean Idk if it was mostly the CP but she looked like she was having a blast lol! My son has CP and uses a wheelchair. Logan reminds me of my son. Being included is what he wants more than anything in this world. Thank you for treating everyone with respect and such sweetness. Your jokes are hilarious and exactly how my son jokes with us all day. He wants people to " clown" on him ( as he says) but people always treat him with kid gloves. He hates it but loves you ❤
Most of us are kind of trained in a way to treat folks who're challenged with a little "added empathy", Me and my siblings were blessed, no challenges, and being raised Christian would be taught not to make fun of others especially those less fortunate.

i am a disabled person and i love when comics pick on me but the thing i hate is the word handicap its, old school, its the same as the r word the term now is learning difficulty/disabilty

@@MrChriiz its just the word bugs me because y dad used to tell people i was handicapped and i personally found the word patronizing because some people think that if your legs don't work(as in my case i have spina bifida) your brain doesn't either so the terms used today ae phisicaly disabled and learning difficulty

Genuine? Sincere? Cancel? From most people's point of view, the issue was that Matt is telling very dark jokes but not even making them funny, he's just saying offensive things to get people triggered, or writing about him in the press. I don't mind dark humor, I watch South Park and all that, but the difference is South Park actually turns the dark awful thing into a funny joke, instead of just saying the dark awful thing, like Matt does. His jokes aren't funny, they're just anti-PC or anti-woke and that's all people actually like it for. Most comedians won't tell these "jokes" because they no longer want to, so Matt has become like the king of the right-wing comedians - it really doesn't take much effort to become a right-wing grifter, but it takes a lot to tell a funny joke. Keep sucking his nob all you want but it won't make him actually funny or genuine

I don't care what people say about Matt or the hate they throw his way. No other comedian is out here doing this sort of crowd work and being proud enough to make a whole video about it. I'm blind and have been for most of my life. This literally brought tears to my eyes because for once, someone gets that those of us with disabilities just want to be included and made fun of like everyone else. I can't wait to go to one of Matt's shows, meet him, and thank him personally for roasting my sorry blind ass 🤣 I love you Matt!!! Keep doing what you do. It's beautiful, just like your fucking face 😜

I’m an epileptic in a wheelchair … I just wanted to thank you for taking time out of your show to make sure that she was ok after her seizure. Also, your jokes about people in wheelchairs are hilarious, thank you for including us ❤

The fact that so many handicapped people actually go see Matt speaks volume. People love him and they love the fact he doesn't skip them just because they're handicapped. Kudos to Matt!
Yh I've noticed after he mentioned the wheelchair joke in his first big show, there's been more in his crowds and he actively starts seeking them out, clearly they know what they hope to experience and him knowing they're there makes sure to give them that experience. Its great to see🙌🏼
Having a sister with cerebral palsy it definitely makes me happy and even a tear to my eye to see someone include handicap people into the act with compassion. I know she would go absolutely wild if she was even mentioned at a show like this. Thank you Matt.
My son has disabilities and seeing comedians take the time to acknowledge but also include these folks in the fun and treat them like everyone else makes me incredibly happy. so funny - Matt is so quick with the jokes! Incredible.

Dude. My dad was quadriplegic for the last 8 years of his life. Both of my grandmothers had strokes and alheizmeers. Nobody knows how to speak to people in that state. Matt came at everyone the same. Gotta appreciate something so simple. Good man.

My mom is a triplegic with severe brain damage from 3 strokes, and seeing her bust a gut from funny movies and comedians is easily one of my favorite things in life. Seeing his crowd work instantly shot MF to the top of my favorite comedians list. Please keep including elderly and disabled!!!
I love Matt! He genuinely cares about his audiences, especially the ones who have a disability. I love that he also jokes with them in a way that says "it's alright to laugh at your situation."
You hit the nail on the head - he doesn't put anyone down; he jokes about their situations! And that's what makes his jokes inclusive and great for everyone x

As a person in a wheelchair I find this amazing! I have MS and shared this to some of my facebook groups. You Matt Rife are an incredible human being and I hope everyone takes the time to see one of your shows 💞💞
This is how it was in the 70's, we all liked each other and everyone had a sense of humour.
I love seeing stuff like this. Everyone wants to be included. My buddy is in a wheelchair and when I first started hanging out with him, me and our other friends took it easy on him when it came to roasts, and one day he got mad as hell. “Why do y’all go easy on me? You couldn’t say anything to hurt me half as bad as what put me in this chair, fire the hell away!”
Ever since then, we hit him just as hard with the jokes as everyone else and he takes jokes better than anyone else, and best believe he can dish em right back at us at least just as hard. Everyone wants to be included, and I love seeing you do that here Matt. Love ya brother, hope to see you live one day.

I love how you include them. They love it and it also teaches everyone that there is nothing to be afraid of. When i was younger i was afraid and very ignorant. They are some of the sweetest people youll ever meet. I think your grandfather did a wonderful job at raising you to be a respectful man. He is so proud of you.

Brother, you are real man. You have a special gift, to light up people with your comedy and humanity. I don't shed a tear, ever, but I came close on this one. Not because of your interaction with those wonderful souls, but because of the gift that's been given to you and more so, because you CHOOSE to shine it on those that need it most. A beer and a shot is on me if we ever cross paths.
I was always told by my parents to never make fun of anyone's disability. And yet Matt does so in a way that's respectful and not degrading. That's true inclusion.
I think this is what separates Matt Rife from others is he is humble brought up good and raised right he likes the interactions just as much as the people. ❤👏🏻

I love that Matt will give EVERYONE shit. You’re not treated differently because you have a handicap or are differently abled. You are fodder for his show and everyone he’s “picked on” has been happier for it because for once they are “seen” and not overlooked by people who are trying to be polite. No one wants to be pointed at and gawked at but they don’t want to be treated as invisible either. People want to be treated like everyone else (well some do, anyway.)
Kindness is a weakness to the indecent but virtuous to the decent. Matt is among our most decent. Bravo sir.

I love how most comedians either sit in a chair or pace slowly. Matt could easily lay on the ground, sit with the crowd, sit on the edge of the stage and he just adopts the whole crowd. Were like his little minions😅

I can relate to and value alot of different shit, but this is straight up golden. I mean the "handicap" inclusion specifically, but the comedian generally. The world needs more of this, uncensored and unbiased unloading on to fans, treading boundaries but undoubtebly from a loving standpoint, for the sake of comedy.

How many ppl were appalled by how he spoke to, with & about the disabled ppl? I imagine everyone of them felt great! They were treated "special"! Like one of the crowd! He treated them as ppl!! Probably the first time they didn't have to feel so different! What a great talent & quick wit interacting with the really special ppl!😊
The one thing I love about Matt’s show is the way everyone has fun and laughs without really offending or go too personal even the people he picks are having a blast 🙏🏼 blessing Matt 💪🏼

He has such a good soul. Regardless of being gifted, it's really cool he took the time to take photos with the people that wanted them while making jokes about them. Comedy is just that, shut up, he made all of those people's nights and Nicole loved it. Something she will remember forever.
