Hi Sky 😊 I have used this program a few times when I want to stream vr. But recently the chat window won't update, so I can see what write to me. Its really annoying when streaming and you think nobody is watching you, bc of no activity in the chat. Then I end the stream to find out that has been people writen to me asking questions. I can see it on my monitor on the pop out chat. What can I do to fix it??
When I open up SteamVR I don't see an option for OVR Toolkit to launch anywhere, even if I launch it from Steam on my Desktop. Am I overlooking something?
How do you keep it from moving around while your e playing? Ill go to grab something and grab the window and fling it somewhere, and I dont know how to stop that from happening.
I have a vr headset but I don’t always play games through the steam store I have them downloaded on the quest itself. So do I have to have the games connected through steam to get it to work? because i stream games straight from the quest its self

Hmm.. not quite sure what you mean. The viewers see it when you look at it by default. Its an overlay that shows up with your gameplay. There is no window capture per say - its just shows up.
would of been a good video except you dont explain that this doesn't work for oculus and never state which vr your using, sorry but next time you do a vid like this please say that, cos i have wasted time setting this up not to work!!

I've just got OVRtoolkit but do you need two VR controllers as at the min I've only got one for the HTC Vive

Is this only for steam games? :( I know about oculus dash but I want this sweet plug in even though I buy my games from the oculus store!!

OVR toolkit will require steam and a VR headset to use.

I'm a little late but you should just be able to bring up a window with obs and control it like normal

I think i might have figured out my problem. I capture the game directly instead of capturing vr view...im guessing

if your oculus is connected to your PC, it should work as long as you're playing with steam vr
