MPs, Senators and other members of government should be banned and removed. Either they resign to vacate seats or positions voluntarily with a reduction in pension or they will be publicly named, removed from parliament, with full loss of pension
His view that parliamentarians should be non-partisan is rich considering the government is supporting the most partisan Speaker we've ever had.
Other than the speaker and a few others, MPs are expected to be partisan.

Failure of any group or individual to acknowledge any failures and shortcomings will determine the probability of improved performance. The minister believes that he is both right and effective. The party is like-minded. It would appear improbable that they will try and improve. Instead, they will focus on "better messaging".
Canada is not a democracy, the only say a voter has is in his local MP after that the party with the most votes choses the PM who then appoints judges, senators, etc etc
