Most of the manufactured homes I looked at didn’t comply to the FEDERAL MANUFACTURED HOME CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY STANDARDS. 24 CFR. 3280.307 Resistance to elements and use. All exterior joints and mating surfaces shall be sealed with sealant. That means if the exterior walls or smart siding or T1-11 siding every 4 x 8 feet where they are joint together shall be sealed with sealant. All trim around windows, vents, and corner trim shall be sealed with sealant. Pipes coming through the subfloor shall be sealed with sealant. The metal frame shall be corrosion resistant. Google and read this Section to understand what I have mentioned. If you find a manufactured home that not built to the standards. Google 42 U.S. Code 5409 a noncompliance manufactured home shall not be offered for sale or lease or sold or lease. If you live in Texas . THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS MANUFACTURED HOUSING DIVISION WILL NOT ENFORCE THE FEDERAL STANDARDS. WHICH IS A VIOLATION OF 42 U.S. Code 5420 and 42 U.S. Code 5422. There is a person that post on You Tube. Go to search on You Tube never buy a Clayton Manufactured Home. He posted 43 parts. Good luck finding the right home for your family.😊
I agree. One manufacturer, Palm Harber, builds with 2×4 exterior walls! I asked how much would it cost me to have 2x6 and I was told $10,000 per side. I said I could grame a whole house, interior walls included, in 2x6 for half that.
Prices for mobile homes has reached a new level in ripping off the consumer's. We owned one back in the 80's and ours was just over 30,000 that was for the top of the line Marshfield.
Wow, I'm impressed with the spaciousness and modern design of this single-wide mobile home by Collier's Home World! It definitely challenges the traditional perception of mobile homes.❤️😍
It's a really nice home. Perfect for a new family who haven't accumulated a lot of stuff. There's plenty of storage and I just love the utility room. So thanks for sharing and have a nice day.
This home is gorgeous. I must admit i love it as it is. I hope the price was not before extras. Upgrades do cost but i think, as all homes do, theres a ceiling price. ❤
remember when my grandma has a double wide manufatured home she bought in like 2016 for 130k... i loved that house had a nice over hang with a 65% wrap around deck. and now we get way less for almost the same price.
For a single wide house, this one has a lot of great things about it. The bedrooms are a nice size and the location of the master bedroom is great. That laundry room is nice- not taking up to much space but have room for everything you need in there. It’s a nice house for a couple to start in or retired couple.
This checks a lot of my boxes! ✅The master bath makes me good with the "main bathroom". 🙃If I could just spread out the kitchen a bit and have a rolling island, I'd be sold.💯 This is one of my favorites!🎉
That was a great use of space for a single wide! Definitely a rare one to have the hot water heater in the utility room on a single wide. I am also impressed by the price point they are shooting for with this model.
As a single person, this home would be perfect for me! ❤ And the price is right! I love the wall pattern in the showers. 1st time seeing a sink in a single wide utility room. 👍🏾 I would option in the blue backsplash, it’s pretty. They made great use of space in this one, esp the master bath!
Thank you so much, this is exactly what I’m looking for, and a sink in the laundry room. I love everything about this one. Thank you so much for continuing to do the single wides🕊
Beautiful setup love insure wished I had one and could afford😊 would be happy thankful and blessed to have could and would averstive for my lifetime for them ❤❤❤ have land space for it
I love this single wide. The kitchen is just right and the bedroom is the best. Love the bathroom with the extra shelving over the bathtub the linen closet also. The size bedrooms are great. I would opt for wooden shelves & clothes rack in the closets. Thanks Chance for the tour.❤
The design second to none! Love the color choices, the way everything looks quality , and not just standard. Love the utility best of any I’ve seen in a single wide. ❤️
Lovely home!! Love that you have toured another Singlewide!! Like that the extra bedrooms are larger than normal too. Gorgeous backsplash in kitchen. Thank you for touring!!
Love the utility room. Luckily, I’ve always had a sink in mine. What I’m seeing/hearing of as an option for the smaller rooms is to stack your “full size” washer/dryer so there’s room for a sink with storage below and cabinets above. It’s not very aesthetically pleasing to have the bright white switch plates on all the pretty tile and anywhere with darker back grounds. As many homes as Champion & some of these other companies build, you would think that they could have more than just white since they buy in bulk. Love your videos and humor. 😊
I hate that shower tub combo in the smaller bathroom and I hate the shower surround in the master awful things to clean!! Id change that if at all possible and I want extra boxes of that grey tile! I would have to have a add on to make that kitchen/living room bigger we've got too many family that come for extended stays and I NEED a spot for a deep freezer!
These mobile homes are not sticks and brick, they are made in a factory with just the bare necessities for the legal standards. I love the way you show the houses but the manufacturer has way over priced these types of homes.
100 grand for a masonite box that will fall apart in 10-15 years. That house should be 60 grand at most. People dont realize that the cost of these homes is not the final cost. Add foundation, septic, utilities, land/lot and now you own a 200 grand masonite box.
Chance and Clay, dont know if you know about the beautiful lot and homes in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The sign out front says Clayton homes. They have some beautiful homes there. It used to. Be called Stadium Blvd, but I think it is now called Red Wolf Blvd. You should check it out when you are up this way. God bless.
Take this floor plan and add 4 feet to it. Add 1 foot each to the master bedroom, the living room, bedroom 2, bedroom 3 and include that 1 foot extension for the length of bathroom 2. That would really bump up the comfort level of this home by a lot more than what would initially be expected. You will definitely feel that extra room inside.
Is the all exterior mating and joint surface sealed with sealant as required? I’m looking 👀 for a new manufactured home that complies with the FEDERAL MANUFACTURED HOME CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY STANDARDS. Please advise 😊
Actually a pretty great price depending where you live. 3 beds for under 100k? Damn good. Bought a lot already and am looking at basically the same thing. If you own your land, should only be paying 800$ a month or less on a 15 year loan. Install isn't hugely expensive unless you want a foundation. In my area the price of total install is at least half of what buying any house would cost me.
I like this house as it has lots more storage than you usually see. Needs more drawers in the kitchen though. Somethings you just shouldn't cheap out on and that is your kitchen cupboards. If I have to have a vinyl floor thoughout, I like this much better than the ugly black mottled ones that look like the y have a bad case of black mold! I don't understand how some can design homes like this that has a spacious feel while other seem to not have any imagination and everything is so cramped feeling. By the way yet again the middle bedroom actually has one more foot of space than the third one. When you start the house tour and show the floor plan, I hit pause and study the floor plan carefully. Thanks for the tour.
Nice single wide. Not a lot of counter space in the kitchen and I didn't notice a built-in microwave anywhere so that will take up part of the counter also.
In 1992 we bought a brand new single wide trailer 14x70 for 12k. That was them coming land prepping and all hook ups. 2011 we bought a brand new double wide for 103,000 that included land prep and set up with hook ups. Both had terrible building material. The toxic formaldehyde burned our throats. They have warnings in each one. If you have asthma or any lung issues run. Any way the double wide had a shingle roof only 15 year and vinyl siding. Thin cheap materials it was a 40x54 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms formal dining room and all appliances and heat pump. Beautiful to look at but the carpet was so thin and sparse. Flooring 2as pressed wood. These days the single and double wides are built even worse. Never waste your money on a manufactured home. Now you pay an additional 60-80k or more for them to install it. Just found a stick build you can fix up. We sold our double wide wi5h in 3 years due to the air quality being so bad.
Place for litterbox if you have a cat in the laundry room, instead of the bathroom. Love it
A very nice home, great floorplan and options!..
Take out the bathtub in the master bath and a very large shower would make it perfect.
I bought a brand new double wide for $54 k here in Tennessee at Clayton homes. That is a crazy high price for a single wide
thats a deal. guess i need to skip kentucky
Mind telling me what model it was? Thanks so much!
No excuse for any mobile home to be more than 80k. These are supposed to be affordable homes and these companies have gotten disgustingly greedy.

Not to mention the poisonous chemicals used to build them. Just build your own and don't poison yourself.
Dude, you always make me smile!! Thank you!!!
Like this house very much for a single wide, the blue color, the "extra" space in the laundry, the bathrooms' designs, etc.
Prices for mobile homes has reached a new level in ripping off the consumer's. We owned one back in the 80's and ours was just over 30,000 that was for the top of the line Marshfield.
Love the exterior of the house...This is a very nice S/W,nice area for a dining room area.😀🌞🌻☀️🌼😄
I love this house! Only thing I would change is fiberglass sinks, bathtubs, showers in the bathrooms.
That’s a great little home. Love the utility room!!
This is it! A hit ! Laundry room sells it! Wowzo!
I am impressed by this home. For a single wide the layout is great. I love the space in the laundry room. ❤️
I WANT THIS ‼️‼️‼️

Wow chance. Just came across this video. Didn't know you ran 2 different channels. Glad I came across it
Home was so nice, I really didn't mind the board and batton. It blended instead of sticking out. Lots of storage. And a great price.
Love the siding color and the size of the utility room! Nice house!!!
This checks a lot of my boxes! ✅The master bath makes me good with the "main bathroom". 🙃If I could just spread out the kitchen a bit and have a rolling island, I'd be sold.💯 This is one of my favorites!🎉
I really LOVE the kitchen and laundry room. Thank you for all you do to travel and make your awesome videos. This home is really nice.
I LOVE TEXAS !!! Hope yall had a great time ! Good People. LOVE CHAMPION HOMES !!!
That was a great use of space for a single wide! Definitely a rare one to have the hot water heater in the utility room on a single wide. I am also impressed by the price point they are shooting for with this model.
Perfect for me! Love the laundry room and master bedroom.
Perfect!

Very beautifully staged !
Lovely home!! Love that you have toured another Singlewide!! Like that the extra bedrooms are larger than normal too. Gorgeous backsplash in kitchen.

So perfect for this Michigan couple who wants to set an affordable home on a lot in Florida for the winters! Love it chance!
This is an excellent home and would fit what my wife and I are trying to accomplish
Close to a hundred grand for a single wide? Prices have gone crazy.
Super cute!

Beautiful home for myself is this one available in the. Northeast?
Nice one. Great price. The shower liner things are hideous.
This one very nice
Really love the color on this …beautiful inside 2… but can’t see paying that price for a Mobile home
Is the all exterior mating and joint surface sealed with sealant as required?
I’m looking 👀 for a new manufactured home that complies with the FEDERAL MANUFACTURED HOME CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY STANDARDS. Please advise 😊
Under $100K ? I would have thought it would’ve less than $50K
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️ super nice
Can you come to Northern California and do some reviews on some here?😊
Yup the utility room best part showers not so much wonder how thin walls are and r-value anyway thank you 😊
Aee drywall or sheetrock available?
Can the laundry room window be changed out for a door?
Vary nice
Pretty on the inside. Can’t deal with that exterior color.
I would like it without tub in Master, it's a smaller living room!

I'd replace some of the shelves in the utility room for space for a small deep freezer.
Nice single wide.
Not a lot of counter space in the kitchen and I didn't notice a built-in microwave anywhere so that will take up part of the counter also.
How much did options add to the price?
Nice
I can't get past the speed of that ceiling fan!!😂 Is it like some camera effects or what!

Oh wow! The price of condo/townhome are very expensive. I thought a trailer would be more economical right now..
