You neglected to mention that Blob was the only one that could feed Unus when his powers went out of control, as his powers would repel even the food he needed. Blob would bring it to Unus in a metal container that could withstand the pressure, and feed Unus like a child. This was all extremely staxing on Blob but Blob would do anything for his friend. Finally when Unus began to repell not only himself from the earth and the air from his lungs blob could only stand there and watch as his one friend suffocated in front of him. That's when Blob went on his rampage.

His powers are magical in nature not a mutation. As far as marvel x men/ mutant characters go. Blob, Toad, Sabertooth, Sasquatch, and Puck have been my tops since I was a kid back in the 90s early 2000s. I always really liked Toad and Blob though a bizzare out cast duo.
As of right now on the current nation/mutant utopia Krakoa, The Blob is enjoying a pretty peaceful and chill life as a bartender on the island nation, likely not needing the mutant growth hormone anymore since mutants have the whole resurrection thing now.
He can feel pain, I guess when he is not expecting it, during the fall of the mutants storyline in Uncanny X-men he is sitting on Wolverine, after a few minutes he lets out an almighty yell and launches himself into the air, Wolvey has his arm raised at the elbow with his claws out and just say's,' happy landings, bub'.

He is probably one of the only living beings that can truly blame just their genetics for his fat. For that matter I have not seen it where he gains weight in a normal way either. No matter what he does he will not lose weight. Starving himself would case harm to his health to the point of death with no weight lost. Still, though it is horrible that even other mutants who should know better treat him horribly. He is judged and mistreated with powers that have little use except for crime and helping those who look down on him.

Um I gotta call bullshit on one aspect of this video. I’m not a fan of the movies but have loved the comics for decades and the only time “angel” could have even hurt dukes was after becoming “archangel” which means it was in the age of apocalypse storyline when he became one of the horsemen. “Angel” was just a human with wings while “archangel” was an indestructible engine of destruction with strength that rivaled colossus.
His fat is tied into his powers and not just an eating disorder like in that crud movie. So, if powerless equals worthless than yes. He also hasn't really been shown to gain weight either from what I have seen though his powers have increased. It is possible that starvation would not tap his fat reserves and it night cannibalize other systems first which would make it even more necessary to eat properly and probably give the impression that he is fat from overeating when in reality his body would function more like it was malnourished. Just a theory and somewhat backed by House of M.
He cannot lose his fat to my knowledge without being depowered. It would take something that nullified his x gene to do it and being a physical trait might require a permanent effect to do it like with House of M. Laying off the KFC would not burn fat for him. He probably eats a lot because his body doesn't use the fat reserves for energy. We never see him lose weight from activity or gain weight from eating either, it is tied directly into his powers which is the only way his body changes is for his mutation to evolve.
I think his main power is controlling his own gravity field so even without his fat he would still have his gravity control but he might lose a significant amount of durability
You’re sort of coming at it backwards… the fat doesn’t hold the power, but it is part of it, meaning the power comes first then the fat, however if he lost his fat it would likely mean his power has left him… actively trying to lose his fat while his mutant gene is still active would probably result in him starving while preserving his mass.

Original Juggernaut wasn’t actually a mutant. His ability was mystical in nature. The reboot Juggernaut and MCU Juggernaut were mutants though.

I've been a fan of Blob ever since reading X-Men #3 and absolutely loathed how he was treated in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". Save the whales indeed...
