Further though, the idea that the appraisers are only loyal to the Pawn Shop is kind of silly, they have careers outside of appraising items on the show and such siding-with-the-buyer type lowballing will get you a reputation that will hurt your business. Even with sellers that are complete morons (and rude to pair), its the job of any appraiser to be unbiased and to maintain professionalism.
