When I was watching the last episode ,I was hoping for a happy ending for him,but he didnt got one. I wanted to see him live a happy life he deserved it. All his life was miserable, I want to hug him so much even tho he is just a character lol🤣
The last part where Yi Seo hugged Geun Soo made me tear a bit. I really feel bad for Geun Soo as he was always a nice kid but because he took Yi Seo words too seriously and the fact that he really likes her, he decided to return to jangga and did the jangga way that wasnt himself at all. That also affected how I see Yi seo in this show, she was so cruel to Geun Soo and in a way making use of his feelings for her. I like Geun Soo character, his willingness to sacrifice himself because of love, he deserved better in the end.
He loved her selflessly, a one sided love and I love the last line when yi seo said, " you were just faithful to me, I couldn't accept it but I could feel it till the end " .... Like that one line just changed everything.

Among all the crazy characters and personalities, Jang Geun Soo was that one person you seek comfort in. He was always my favorite character as he was someone who didn’t let himself define by his backgrounds, he was always there for Yi-Seo and even though she would never admit it, I am certain that she was glad to have him as a friend. But she took him far too much for granted and that’s why it turned out this way. But I hate it. Didn’t he want to become independent? And his ending just sucks. Can’t there be a Kdrama without character arcs that leave a bitter taste in my mouth?

He had the saddest story among all of the characters imo. At least Soo Ah was given justice in Episode 16
