Deez Nuts there’s a physical you gotta sign and pass. Then you and your parents sign a waiver that if anything happens the school isn’t responsible for any of it. So it’s sign up and play and play however.
I played LB vs a girl RB and with a single hit sent her out on a stretcher although I was not trying to cause any injuries, I was just going my hardest as in any play and she was carrying the ball while going into the open straight up to me so I lowered my hat and delivered a clean bull rush with my facemask on her chest and palms on her pads all while being a skinny 160lb, 5"11, 15yo. She bounced back 4 yds., her helmet popped out, obviously fumbled, fell unconscious and I ended in a lot of trouble. Her parents wanted to lynch me on the spot, her coaches tried to have me banned from the league arguing sadistic brutality (O_o) and my own coaches (save for the HC who decided to keep me on the roster anyway) turned on me for being too aggressive and "attacking" a fragile girl. Of course I was sidelined for the next game which was the championship and suspended for the next season....
I really want to leave some snarky comment about her not playing in Texas or Florida or California, but at the end of the day, who am I to say anything negative about a young lady chasing her dream. Good for her.
My youngest Daughter was a Receiver on offense and a Defensive end on Defense, Midget League and JR high, her mother talked her into quitting before HS.
Here in Canton MI we had a girl join our high school football team and they let her join and she played a whole season..our coaches told us "dont treat her like a girl during practice, hit her as hard as you'd hit one of your male teammates" she joined just so she could tell people she could play football too..lets just say she was "injured" by the second week of pads so she couldnt practice or play the rest of the season..she was truly terrified to play..she just wanted the attention of being a girl on an all boys high school football team.
Had a girl try out for our team. Her dad didn't agree with her playing so he told coaches and team to treat her as one of the guys. She lasted 2 hands on practice. First practice all the guys eased up. Then the father came running on the field saying. Is that how your going to hit so and do team! Next play she turned in uniform. Her football days was over. 140 pound against 280, 245, 205 pound lineman and LB. And full speed she realized after waking up maybe wrong choice.
Go for it, young lady. Like the teammates comment: that is not a girl, that is a football player. Your 'mates are respectable ' mates. They know your value to the team!
Yeah ok...she wanted to play and was given the opportunity. Good for her, the coaches, parents, administration and anyone else who had a hand in making sure she recieved fair treatment. But come on...let's not make it out to be more than it is. Did you really expect any of her teammates or coaches to say ANYTHING slightly negative about her performance in front of a TV camera for a report that would eventually be broadcast nationwide?? Uhhh...no!! Looks like they struggled to find any decent film footage of her doing anything in competition.
I play middle linebacker and there was this one girl running back and I hit her so hard i kinda felt bad but they were a rival team so I didn’t care that much
She is so equal, a whole story is dedicated to a “girl” playing football. See how you make it not equal, special, different, unique, weird, surpising? Very far from equal. If it was equal, the story wouldve been about the each player on the team, not just the “girl” player.
we had a CB that was a girl when they would target here we sent our wild card out his job was to go after whoever hit her and show him what happens when you do that

Not gonna lie that high schools varsity team looks kinda small
lil sausage that’s what i’m saying
They are I’m from around there

Yeah my schools team was like 200 lbs average
Not a single footage of a tackle by her... weird...
Hahaha Ye cause there is none cause it never happened she is just one of them things that she tries to stand out

According to MaxPreps website…..she had a total of five tackles.
😂😂 "playing varsity" but it's obviously a saturday morning

i didn't notice that 😂
Doesn’t make a single tackle or effort to make one
The effort's there (ex: 1:02 , 2:08), but the ability isn't. It goes to show that God created men and women differently.

Ridiculous that a girl is playing on a boys football team and that the boys can’t tackle her without being afraid of getting a lawsuit😐😐🙄 stupid.

Magic Kid no because there is no high school girl football teams so give them a chance and stfu

Guys can play baseball

No one boy actually hit her in that video. She should not be on the field
They don't want to injure her. If She gets blocked by a Offensive Lineman, She's going to get a injury.
