The Windmoeller & Hoelscher 52" MIRAFLEX AM 10 Colour Flexographic Printing Press otherwise known as "KING KONG" has been up and running since July 2015 here at Associated Labels and Packaging in Vancouver, Canada.

That's one of our presses where I work, we have another one that can run a larger repeat and soon we'll have an even larger one. The drum is just a monster and will be printing film. The one its basically replacing as the primary solvent ink press will be going to water base and because it can run a larger repeat will take on jobs the current one can't. We're also about to relocate the laminators and slitters to make room for more presses. These things are amazing 👏

Runs like butter till it doesn't. Then you need an engineer with a doctorate to fix and the German W&H Techs act like you're mentally ill

My question is merck has ink for printing solar panels yet t&ey dont do it on ci presses,you could print everything even metallic inks to connect it to a ribbon that can run to a battery or wiring harness
Where I work we have an 8 color press this model and it looks almost the same. Good press love it. Now we dont use it anymore. We use an Allstein hydro 10 color press with a closed ink system. Hate it 🙄
@M NEWS i agree 110% i hate the closed ink system. But they still make us run 1600 to 1800 feet a min. We make it happen with what we have 😂
