My dad is 90. He's a Type II diabetic. He has had 5 bypasses, carotid artery surgery, and currently has 13 stints. God sustained him through all of this! He still plows and ha s a garden. We serve a mighty God!

Hello Kevin & Sarah, I just found this channel a bit ago and you are quickly becoming a favorite. Isn't being the sandwich generation fun!. Kids may be heading out but may be back. Mom's and Dad's may be okay but that can change quickly. I always say when you plan, God laughs. Thank your Dad for his service. I have several friends who struggled with the effects of Agent Orange Exposure. I lived through the late 60's and early 70's and lost friends and family. I am thankful for all the troops that did what they were told and pray for the ones now with problems due to just doing what they had to. God bless them all. We made the decision to be in a multigenerational living situation. No more running back and forth. Everyone under one roof and it worked well for us. Our parents are all gone now but I know we did what was best for our family and extended family those 20 years. I treasure the time spent with them. We are heading toward 70 now and are back to just 2 again. I look forward to catching up on many videos you made over the last 8 years. Thank you for all you do.

My hubby (57) had a 5 way open heart bypass surgery last September. He has a hereditary condition that led to this. He spent a month in hospital and another 4 months recovering. The array of meds after surgery took some adjusting but he's finally almost back to normal. I hope your dads surgery goes well and he has a speedy recovery. Thank your dad for his service from our little Aussie family. Sarah I hope your mums health improves also.

I will definitely be adding you all to my daily prayers. ❤ my uncle Frank was a wwii vet. He had 3 of the open heart surgeries you are speaking about plus a pace make. He lived to be 97 i believe and he passed away from cancer on Christmas eve. Oh how much he would love you guys. You 2 remind me of my family .we are from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Kevin you are so much like my dad when he was your age and Sarah you are so much like a combination of my aunt Winnie and me. One day we are all going to be great family and friends in heaven .
