RAW Episode Review Thread (Spoiler Warning) - This has been so good so far man! I am 19:13 minutes in and I'm already goin crazy! This opening match between Riddle and Ali has been amazing to say the least! (Edit: I feel like we are about to see the darkest side of Orton that we have ever seen before. Love seeing that angry and rageful side of Edge come out in this episode. Will be very interesting to see how this will play off here, especially with Riddle showing signs of siding with this side of Orton here. Riddle better watch his back tho👀😬 - WOAH!!! WHAT A SIGNING FOR THE RED BRAND!!! Excited to see what is to come for Ilja on the Main Roster! 30:51 - That match was really good! Loved the Finish especially! Tho he lost, I loved the way you booked JD in this match! If this match between Cena and JD was great, I already know Wes Lee vs Cena is gonna be somethin else!!! 53:22 - OH SNAP!!! The Almighty vs The Ring General at Payback!? TAKE MY DINERO! 57:08 - Like to see FTR making their return to the RAW and in #1 contention! Good tag team wrestling by both FTR and Brawling Brutes! - I liked the womens match here! Liv coming to the aid of Mickie James to even out the eqaution here and brawling with Dakota Kai was cool. Very solid match all around! Love to see the Women's division shining! - Woah! The possibility of Edge or Riddle vs Randy vs Cardona for the WWE Championship at Payback is 🔥🔥🔥!!! Hope to see Edge take the W here. Maybe we can see an official heel turn by Riddle by costing Edge the belt in some way at the PPV!?👀 1:32:44
I use 19 and 23. The only things I used 2K19 for on this show is the stuff pertaining to the WWE Championship (opening 30 minutes, ending segment). Everything else is 2K23
I love the booking and storytelling that you're doing for these. It's clear that you're also putting effort into planning out the matches even. It's great. HOWEVER! If I may offer 1 critique, and it's 1 I'm not sure if you'll be able to do or not, but at least for commentating the matches, it really just feels kind of off that there's not a 2nd commentator. Not sure if that's something you'd be able to work in or not. Also, considering the length of these and no doubt how much work goes into them, it might be better to make this for either just Smackdown or just Raw, that way nobody has to wait too long for the next episode. Regardless, these have been great. Looking forward to the next one.
