Notice when he sings in English he handles the dipthongs properly - something Frank Sinatra never learned. Also he has pretty good mic technique. Many classical singers are lost when they hold a mic but Domingo moves it like a true pop singer. No dummy he.
Sweet interview, with interesting insight and great questions, and a beautiful performance. If I were an audience member back then and I asked a question, I would ask did he have any painful falls on stage. My guess is that he would talk about the Met production of Pagliacci when he tripped on a chair during the finale, but then again he might not. Magnificent performance in relation to that though, and a great recovery.
