yes, I can do that. But, my old pc is still what i use most of the time because that's the one that connects to the internet. And i have only one monitor, so, having to connect the monitor again to another pc takes time. Also, i'm not retiring this pc anytime soon, that's why still improving on what i can, even on the OLD PC. And I also wanted to make this video. So, it may not apply to me but i'm sure someone might find this helpful.
@@gurribuy I see. Another question, if you don't mind. When you connect one usb slot on the motherboard to a multi-port connector as the one you have, isn't the bandwidth of the slot shared between the ports? I mean, won't the transfer be slower than one between two ports on two different slots?
@@krshnam6170In my video. I only had one spare usb 2.0 header. Each header gives you two USB port and both the port have their own dedicated bandwidth, they are not sharing. In my case I am only able to use use two usb port from this device because there were not header left on my motherboard for the other two. Basically one USB header on the motherboard equals two usb port with separate bandwidth.
