- Hola my beautiful YT familia! ♥️ Today, I’m doing a fun makeup challenge, battle of hydrating gripping primers drugstore edition! I am testing out the very new e.l.f. Cosmetics Power Grip VS the NEW NYX Plump Right Back Electrolytes Primer. I’m wearing it ALLLLLL day on my oily skin. Great Comparison! I have them both and they work amazing. Only difference I’ve notice is Elf works better with my long/matte wear foundation’s and Nyx is great for my tinted/ lighter more hydrated Foundation’s. U look Beautiful! Luv ya💕

Yeah they both look pretty similar! I was scared to order it cuz I’m combo skin and I like matte primers but you convinced me lol i ordered the elf primer and I can’t wait to try it out 😄

I have both! In your video the NYX looks like a prettier finish. However, on my skin I feel as though the ELF brand looks better under my foundation. Both look great on you! It’s honestly hard to see a difference because they wear so similar.

I Love the word GASTADA! I went with the ELF primer after your first video for it. I've use ELF primers , but was never impressed with any I've tried. Even the Jelly Pop every raves about. This gripping primer however does a great job, for me anyway. It def helps the foundation stay in place, but the glowing part is the part I love. After hours of wear, my foundation is locked in and the glow is still there. It's a a win win for me. Great Vid as always!!!!!

I appreciate your wear test with these. I’ve been wanting to try these but after seeing this I think I’d rather go with the NYX primer because I honestly think that it wore more beautifully.

Has anyone had good results with blurring acne scars? I use nyx photo ready with nyx pore filler. I've tried soooo many products and that combo is the only thing that's worked. I literally have to fill each scar with with a tiny brush. I would like to just be able to use one product.

Sometimes hyper-oily skin is caused by skin dehydration. If I used matte, oil absorbing everything (combo/oily skin), I CAN feel my face wrinkling and it's uncomfortable.

This is a primer I am considering of purchasing despite I've got oily skin !! But, I have now many fine wrinkles ,too !! Lol. So,thanks to this video ! Yes I love it but it’s a gripping primer doesn’t mattify the skin but it does stick the foundation down 😭

Everyone who tries primers have perfect flawless skin!! I would love to try either of these but I’m worried about my acne and how it’ll react 😣
I have acne prone sensitive skin and both didn't break me out or make my skin look worse I also have a lot of texture and dry skin. The elf one I'd unscented so it's the least likely of the to cause break outs then does have fragrance but it's really light and didn't break me out at all
