- A basic overview of shield mechanics in Elite Dangerous, and the modules involved in building effective shields. A sidewinder is used to demonstrate the basics of building shields, though many of the principles applied her work on the other ships in the game.
NOTE: Some of the build choices are based on my opinions, though the mechanics are sound. Other players will certainly have different approaches to setting up ships and shields.

I know this is a new player tutorial, but....any idea on how to find SG's in the 7 and 8 categories? Been trying to use the Roguey site, but I've spent hours hopping from one station to the next where it says they've been located and nothing. lol Seems like an awful big universe to go just scrounging around.
Pause! Did you just call a Fer-Delance a large ship? 😂 bro no it’s not, at best it’s a smaller medium ship.
He said “fer de lance and larger ships” because the sidey is friggin small lol
