Clays for a Cause 2024 | Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance

On Tuesday, April 23, Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) Insurance hosted its sixth annual Clays for a Cause fundraising event, bringing in $350,214 in charitable donations to support the fight against food and housing insecurity in Kentucky. This event has now raised more than $1.7 million in charitable donations since its inaugural shoot in 2019. The sold-out sporting clays event, held at Jefferson Gun Club in Brooks, Ky., was attended by nearly 370 participants and supported by 44 sponsoring companies. KFB Insurance underwrites 100% of the expenses to produce this event, so every dollar raised from sponsorships, participant fees and donations is given directly to the selected charities or causes. This year, all proceeds were designated to assist the affordable housing program run by Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville, and to continue the event’s ongoing support of local hunger relief efforts organized through Feeding Kentucky, Glean Kentucky, and Kentucky Hunters for the Hungry.
